  • Worked like a charm! Thanks man!! Kudos!

  • You are the best!

  • thanks a lot!!! I LOVE U!!!

  • Thx for this video guy!

I use liteicon 2.0 (i' ve got OSX lion) which is an app to change icons, but "ical" was the only one which bug... so with this method, it works perfectly !!!

    thx !

  • this helped a ton, thanks!

  • Funny, I use that same wallpaper.. lol

  • This worked wonderfully! However, when I try to do "killall Finder" nothing happens and the icon remains the same within the apps folder. Am I spelling and capitalizing everything correctly?

  • @FairyCelt make sure you also copy the App.icns as well as the blank ones... App.icns is the icon in Finder folders..... (Applications folder)

If it still doesn't change, restart your computer, and it should work just fine.

  • Thanks! But how can i get rid of the month and date on the icon, if I want to change it all completely. I'm using an image of a toast, but right now it's a toast with the date on it. HOW DO I TAKE THE DATE OUT?

  • @karlharleman i dont know....

  • I figured it out! I was trying to open it by double-clicking, but it opened when I clicked "show package contents." Thanks for the video! It was very helpful!

  • Everything was working out fine until I had to open the last folder. Mine is called "iCalDockExtra.bundle" and my computer keeps saying that it doesn't have an application to open it. What should I do?

  • @TMSThp hmm... thats weird... are you on snow leopard? or leopard?

and what version is your ical... mine is 4.0.4 (you cn check by going to the ical button on the menu bar on the far left, then clicking "about ical".

  • Thank you so much!!!!!!! Your vid was such a great help :)

  • How Did u get that date the one thats next to the time

  • @kiks413 i use a program called iStat Menus for that.
