if u use the holy sword for the richter fight u cant hurt him he is guarded against it

For some, it may be a good idea to fight the orb with a holy sword, that way if you accidentally hit Richter, you won't hurt him.

Side note: Yorick is actually a character from Shakespeare's Hamlet. Yorick was Hamlet's court jester as a child. well erm i kinda disagree with your statement about getting the axelord armour by jumping loads of times under the librarians chair because i had like 3 mp left and was on a streak but then failed to make the final few jumps so i equiped the ring of verdana and started again with full mp and i got the axelord armour in about 5-6 jumps.

i made up an ending when i was a kid. simon belmont is resurrected infront of alucard and shaft in the inverted castle, then makes some kind of epic speech, and slowly destroys both castles and himself while alucard races out of the castle with a timer like the end of ocarina of time. then when alucard, maria, and richter are outside alucard says "wait, i never have to go to the 2nd castle?" then for no reason alucard and richter's blood switch and alucard's human and richter burns in the sun...

Bastard Swords are just long swords that don't fit into any particular category of sword. They're a mix between two different styles of long sword which is why it's considered "bastardized."

You get a whole new castle to play around in. I remember thinking this gme was worth every penny when I bought it with my birthday money. Looking sharp in that Blue cape my friend.
