This is great dancing but it's mostly Congolese. It's nice that it's mixed with Soudanese music but the info is too mixed up - it is not 'dutty wine African style.' It's good to bring Africa together but we have to get the info straight - we can develop without throwing away our identity altogether.

Whoever made the title of the video noticed that the dances are extreemly similar to what we do in the caribbean islands, specifically a dance called the duttywine. Do you know where I can find info abour "makossa" I am curious to know of any other dances that we do in the carib that are just as similar. I am always curious to know how much of the african customs we managed to retain over the last couple hundred years.

I do not care what anyone says or thinks about people of color, hell we white people are the only ones with no color but we can change our color a lot in so many ways. Does it matter what color a person is, the bottom line is we all bleed the same damn color so forget color. The problem is that alot of MISINFORMATION about races and the origin of races has been spread by white scientists. Every one takes what white scientists say as gospel. Taking a Evolutionary or Anthropology class is irrelevant because it is all white research which factors in their opinion and how their brains work. Black people don't keep saying that; this is what anthropologists, geneticists, and biologists have said for nearly 100+ years now. This subject is way to complex to encapsulate the concept of phenotypes vs. genotype and haplotypes etc. within a youtube box. All I can say to you is take an Evolutionary Biology and Anthropology course, and you'll learn that in terms of humans- there is no biological basis for race;it's purely a socially manufactured construct used to justify human oppression.

I've never heard or seen anyone say all of humanity started with and came from black people.
I have heard that all life started in the horn of Africa, but everything I've read didn't involve the various ethnic groups(white, asians, etc - as we know them) popping out of a black person then transforming into all these different groups.
But I have no problem doing more research :)

So explain to me about Eskimos who live in the north pole the coldest place on earth but they have dark brown skin. White skin is because of albinoism. White people do not come from balcjk people.
