Furthermore, I dont see how paying a small amount a month counts as hanging over you? if your salary falls below 21,000 or you lose your job etc you stop paying and it is a very small monthly payment.

@calumparamor this is what I meant by spreading misinformation, its primary goal is not to decrease the budget deficit, however, it will in the future, but to protect the education from the negative inflationary effects of the economy, university are business too and must be protected. Furthermore, I dont see how paying a small amount a month counts as hanging over you? if your salary falls below 21,000 or you lose your job etc you stop paying and it is a very small monthly payment.
