I don't think they meant this version to be a translation of the Neapolitan lyrics. I believe these are meant as original lyrics for the same melody of "Turna a Surriento." I'm sure Dean Martin could translate the Italian lyrics himself if he wanted.

Love this song and the updated English Lyrics; I have an Italian favorites song book and this one is in it. THere are the lyrics in Italian, original ones I believe, and English translation, if anyone wants to have them. I think Dean recorded the original Italian version late 40's or early 50's
