  • Sorry to comment so much but is this with stock setup or is this brushless?

  • Mine weighs 16 oz. without camera. I use a Himax HC2808-0980 brushless outrunner motor with a 3 cell 700 lipo battery. The camera is an ST Labs 5-in-1 eDVR, very small and light, .75 oz. Not much bigger than a USB flash drive and it just plugs into a USB port to download the video to computer. Takes about 11 minutes video at 15 fps, or 6 minutes at 30 fps. I used 15 fps for this video. Don't know about the Pocketcam.

  • .75oz! dang! omg! wow mine weighs 7oz but its a regular digital cam with all the extra gizzmos and 30fps. Do you know anything about the Aiptek Pocketcam x? i was interested in that one but although this one looks better.

  • Whats is the AUW of your beaver? mine is 1.7lbs lol. Im trying to take up a camera. I upgraded its battery to 8cells which gave extra thrust i did a takeoff test and it could lift the extra weight but im kinda cautious about this as it goes twice as fast.

  • I really like it and would recommend it. There are better cameras out there of course but the small size and light weight make it perfect for use with small light planes. I use an Aiptek MPVR for my bigger planes like my Easystar and the recording time is much longer with an SD card, but the camera also weighs about 6 oz. I can haul it up with my GWS Beaver but it's a struggle. The eDVR only weighs about .75 oz.

  • The DVR can record for about 11 minutes at 15 frames per second or about 6 minutes at 30 frames per second. The camera uses a small lithium polymer battery that gets charged while plugged into the USB port on your computer. I usually record at 15 fps and get good results.

  • awesome video loved the footage

  • I would say a little overloaded, but no problem at all to fly. Flew just a little faster. I use a Kokam 20C 3s battery which keeps the weight down. I figure it weighs about 23 oz. with camera.

  • Nice video!!!

Can you tell me if the the little beaver was overloaded, I mean it was hard to fly with the camcorder on board?

I am buying a MPVR to put on a Beaver, or Slow Stick.

    Thanks
