Meh, this kind of thing happens a lot on sets. Long hours, a lot of pressure to get it shot on time and under budget, it isn't uncommon for someone to go off like that when something doesn't go right. I'd say it was forgotten soon enough. It's the type of thing that happens a lot but never makes it onto the extra features on dvd.

My guess is Bale is on a wireless mic (better for ADR replacement later) and the reason you only hear Bales side so clearly. It was probably lifted from a Daily. The person who 'leaked it' must want to embarress Bale cause they are 'buddies' with the DP.

I blame McG for having such a lax set and no control over his crew. McG could've apologized and to Bale and taken the blame for his DP and Bale would've probably had a different reaction. Whoever leaked it was UN-Professional.

Bale mentions that he's walking if the DP does it again and isn't fired. This was necessary to keep for insurance purposes in case Bale walked. There are hundreds of ways this could have leaked, but I agree that a director needs to know how to deal with hot tempered actors.

Thank God Bale is involved with this Terminator film as he is one of the few things which will make this film have any chance of being a good film.
