  • Kanker windows

    Windows sucks !

  • Hey, I can't open MKVExtractGUI2 is there others app to replace this?

  • @EmilyyIsLoved Three months is a while, but I guess this goes out for anyone else who was also wondering why they can't open MKVExtractGUI2. The program MKVExtractGUI2 has to be in the same folder as your MKVToolnix located in your program files folder. It's as simple as that. Your MKVExtract shortcut (if any) does not need to be though.

  • I was just wondering I have to latest verison on mkvextract will it still be the same? can you please help me?

  • @lilmissanimelover102 Yeah, it'll be the same. Just check what you want to extract and then click the extract button.

  • I got textsub to work by adding the line "loadplugin("C:\Program Files (x86)\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\VSFilter.dll")" to the script, but now it says "TextSub: can't open "C:\Users\*****\Downloads\[MII][SS-Eclipse][THORA]_Clannad_(1920x1080\[MII][SS-Eclipse][THORA]_Clannad_OP_(1920x1080)_[DAAF6555]_track3_eng.ass"

  • jeez this is complicated. why can't someone create an easier program for simply adding subtitles to an avi, mpg4?

  • @kathryn0200 I use Handbrake to add subtitles, it's really easy

  • @kathryn0200 It's not complicated if you take a little time to learn to do this the correct way. Plus you'll end up learning how to modify things any way you want to for the future and end up with a better quality result than any preconfigured program.

  • you can check this link... hope it helps! youtube.com/watch?v=qV2M_rSdpD0

  • Hey, I'm at the part where you use MeGUI. So I am putting my .avs file to the input area and it comes up ***AviSynth script error: Script error: there is no function named "textsub" (C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Desktop\Subtitles.avs, line 2)*** What's going on? Please help!

  • @OnePeacePirates I'm having the same problem =/

  • @Gwerf1 I solved the problem. What I did was reinstalled vsfilter and put it in plugins in avisythn. Seems that I had an older version of vsfilter. I googled vsfilter 2.39 instead of using the website because it gave me 2.37 instead. And make sure that your function is correct, down to the each precise punctuation. This is what I did and it worked! Good Luck

  • @OnePeacePirates Yeah that's also what I did... I got VSFilter 2.4.0 though, and now it says TextSub can't open "C:\Users\etc..." for the error instead. I'm not sure what to do now.

  • @OnePeacePirates I forgot to add that you need VSFilter.dll as well. I suggest downloading aegisub as it comes with vsfilter, then go into the agisub folder after you install it and find that dll. Just copy and paste it into your avisynth plugins directory.

  • how to convert to mkv?

  • @Namstarful Well, you don't actually convert it to MKV. MKV is just a container, so you wouldn't need to hardcode the subtitles into the video if you're going to just make an MKV. Just get MKVMerge and drag and drop your video and subtitles and attatch the fonts used in the subtitles and then mux.

  • @that1guytim If I used the fonts in Aegisub? I mean, I've put the subtitles + font with aegisub, and I've tried your way but it didn't work. Is there any way to convert Aegisub video (w/subs) to avi?

  • How to convert to mkv ?

  • thx m8, awesome video!

  • Ok so....Now my question is. How do I hardcode the subtitles from MKV to MP4? I mean, when I open the AviSynth script, it errors. When I try to get the audio (to mp3 or AC3, dosen´t matter) it errors. I want to play the MP4 on my PS3 with hardcoded subtitles, but I seriously don´t understand what I´m doing wrong or what should I do differently to do so? Could you make a MKV to x264 PS3 MP4 guide or tell me what I should change? And yes, I have put everything to their corresponding folders.

  • when I put the video file in the progrem, it doesnt give me the option of the subtitles. I did that the video and the subtitles will have the same name and they are in the same folder, but it still doesnt work. what can I do?

  • @leeloo1996 I'm not sure what you're saying at all. Are you talking about extracting the subtitles from the mkv or are you talking about when you try to hardcode them into the video? If you're talking about hardcoding them into the video, you need to add a line to your avs file that says something like this:

    textsub("C:\Users\Tim\Desktop\MySubtitles.ass")

  • do we also put the vsfilter in the notepad as will?

  • @soysuva12 No you do not. You just put it in the avisynth filters or plugins folder (can't remember the name of it atm).

  • @that1guytim ok, thanks!
