i bought the Hewlett Packard D530 slimline, but i have one problem , i get some freezing problems sometimes, its not even under load maybe a game and an internet page open , is it a heatsync problem maybe?? and the cpu freezes because air is not being supplied maybe, please get back to me soon as i need help finding the culprit of the problem !!
I like HP/Compaq desktops. All the HP/Compaq desktops I've tinkered with have been well made, offered upgrade paths and used standard parts - unlike some others *cough* Hell... I mean, Dell
Wish I still had the Compaqintosh, was a fantastic system. Upgraded the motherboard, added a 8400GS and swapped out the Core 2 for a Pentium DC E5400 (overclocked to 4GHz on an AVC cooler similar to the one in this video) :)
The only IDE cable left in my computer is for my DVD drive, which is maybe little over a year old... bought it new on Newegg... I have one of my dads new LightScribe drives, but my cases included thumbscrews won't fit in the threading on the drive... so I need to find my box of screws...
