I know of this one complain-landlord who constantly caused trouble here in Winnipeg. She has called the cops numerous times, cried wolf, faked a heart attack, harassed tenants being too loud, enter without no notice, you name it she complained. Here's the kicker and the wonderful times of technology she was taped about 10x different times and when came to court and Landlord Tenancies eventually was charged & sued. Long story short she lost after trying to counter-sue (happen to a friend of mine)
@dets2008 Wow..... nothin compared to the landlord i had,he was a perv,i found numerous cameras behind my bathroom mirror in my bedroom air vent and in a hole behind my toilet....landlords are ASSHOLES,i disconnected them and 3 days later he asked to come in and "repair" the air conditioning vents..what a fucktard. Word to the wise hun. ALWAYS cover your bases and know your rights,i live in kentucky,so im not sure of the laws in Winnipeg but the woman has no right harassing you like that

I tell you what. She can talk to her kids that way but I would not allow her to talk to me that way. I had a landlord that was harrassing me claiming that she was not getting rent on time when she was. The final straw came when she put signs all ove the outside of my apt that said "does not pay rent" for all my neighbors to see. I called the police. She was forced to take them down and she was given a NO TRESPASSING warning. Only the maint man could come for anything that needed repair.
I am wondering what happend in her life that turned her into such a monster. It's clear that she is an extremly sick person. No one should be yelled at and treated like that. I am surprised that such a person is even allowed to own a building or interact with the general public. I can only hope that the tenant doesn't allow her to continue this kind of verbal abuse. Can you imagine if she is married or god forbid even has children? I feel sorry for them.
