  • Hi Alycia, great video as always. Thanks especially for the breathing tip. Can you also give me some tips for my upper abs? Thanks in advance and more power!

  • Alycia.. tell us how can we do the second move without using this equipment PLZz ??

  • How can you do the second exercise if you don't have that equipment?

  • @mcl9411 Unfortunately you cant do that specific exercise...but there are numerous ab exercises you can do without any machines...be well. Alycia

  • When I do this everyday for 3 weeks is that little pouch where brunetebabe224 Is talking about gone?

  • @CurlyGirlNancy If you do these exercises it will help increase the strength in your lower ab area...if you want to decrease size, eating properly and cardio are also very important...hope that helps. be well. Alycia

  • soon +100000 views for this AWESOME fitness tutorial

it's great & motivates me to practice it and it's so important not only for 'beauty' but also for supporting the spine i guess

  • @citizengoverns Thanks :) Be well. Alycia

  • Hello I have had a baby and would like some tips on tightening my stomach, I'm slim but skin is a lil saggy

  • @rachelfxox Research shows the most important thing for the elasticity of skin is the food you eat...omega-3's seem to be beneficial. Also, the breathing exercises I show are very helpful as well. Be well. Alycia

  • So I'm 13 and between my hipbones is very flat but right above is my little pouch is that what the breathing exercise should help, the little pouch?

  • @Brunetebabe224 yes....please speak to your parents or your doctor. Be well. Alycia

  • I LOVE UR VIDEOS THANKS !

  • @XoXoJellyBUGXoXo You are very welcome :) Hope you keep watching, I have a new episode every Friday...Be well. Alycia

  • HI, I really need to lose weight but I keep saying I will, start off strong and then stop completely after a few weeks. I really need some motivation any ideas?

  • @CKALLY I have found success comes from wanting the results greater than the desire not to do it. Until you really decide that you are ready, just grin and bear it until it becomes a habit. usually 2-3 weeks until that happens and by that time you will see results and hopefully that will help motivate you. It is all up to you...decide to do it! :) Be well. Alycia

  • hey im 14 nd i wanna get a toned body because im overweight. i weigh 120 pounds nd im 4'9 but would i have to go to a doctor or what could i do to loose weight?

  • @814sari Hello :) I do suggest going to a doctor to get a physical and clearance to begin an exercise program. When you get clearance, the basic rule of thumb to lose weight is calories in vs calories out. This is not an ok to starve yourself, please dont eat less than 1200 calories a day. Eat healthy foods, such as fruits, veggies, beans, complex carbs, and healthy fats. Stay away from processed foods and high saturated fats, and walk for 30 min/day. Does that help you? Be well. Alycia

  • Hey! I get made fun of at school for being "fat"..I dont think I am (I'm 120 lbs, and 5'6/5'7) I have made it my goal to get toned, and stronger. Do you have any suggestions on what to eat, and what exercises to do to work on my overall appearance? (But I really want to focus on my stomach, legs, and arms) Thanks! BTW I really look up to you! You're amazing!!

  • @lime101lemon Thank you, that is very sweet of you to say :) YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT FAT with those numbers you told me! Kids will always make fun, try to focus on being healthy and active. Regarding your goal of toning your stomach...my videos will definitely help, but dont forget about being active overall..such as after school activities or wii fit. Also, eating foods high in vitamins and minerals and low in saturated fat and sugar is important. Veggies and fruits :) Be well. Alycia

  • @EmpowerYourBody Thanks so much! I am really active when I think about it...Volleyball all year, curling, basketball, running, badminton, and swimming. I'll just try to eat healthier (and cut out most of that halloween candy haha)...I will be following your vids! Thanks for being there every step of the way! Oh, and by the end of it...I'll have 6 PACK ABS!!! lol Thanks again!

  • @lime101lemon Wonderful! Keep me updated :) Be well. Alycia

  • hey just 1 question when ihale and exhale can u do it standing up without bending with that thing?because i do not have it at home!

  • @13cbreezy Hi. I am sorry however I am a bit confused with your question. If you mean can you do the breathing exercises at home while standing...absolutely. Hope I answered your question. Be well. Alycia

  • hey sorry got a question. doing a captians chair, or hanging leg crunches about what angle should your legs come up to?

  • @dudewithhawk hello. to isolate your abs and not engage your hip flexor muscles it is best not to go past a certain angle. that angle can differ from person to person (i have noticed with many clients). Basically though, try not to exceed 30-90degrees...you will know your point simply b/c you will stop feeling the burn in your belly and it may move to your legs. hope that helps...keep me updated. be well. alycia

  • @EmpowerYourBody haha willdo, i can see it working cus on my second set ooooh it burned haha. i have a question also if you just hang from a pullup bar and do them for that time peroid it would work your pecks and or arms. but with the ab straps i dont feel my arms being worked so i can focus on my abs. why is that?

  • @dudewithhawk If you are hanging from the straps on a bar and your form is correct, you are using much of your back and biceps to hold yourself up so your pecs are not overloaded. :) Be well. alycia

  • @EmpowerYourBody Why would you want to "isolate" any part of your body? You want to INTEGRATE your body. The body functions as a UNIT. In sports and in life, the muscles NEVER work in isolation, so why train that way?

  • approximatly, how much time did it take u to have that body?? ur an awsome teacher btw

  • @aNaLinE123 thanks for the compliment. i have been active all my life. i also eat healthy and balanced. be well alycia

  • Is it normal not to beeee sooore the next day? Cuz I usually get sore when I do exercises like that but I didn't. This time ...

    ; /

  • @789ninjaturtle Being sore doesn't just determine the effectiveness of the program...there are many factors to consider...your current level of fitness, how flexible you are, how well you eat, you much rest you get, and how much water you drink. Be well. Alycia

  • can i get abs by just that breathing exercise?! :D

  • @thebasketballgirl00 You will definitely improve the strength of your mid-section which will allow you to do more advanced abdominal activities. be well. alycia

  • R u supposed to be sore from your abs the next day ?

  • SORRY~~!!!! DONT! I REPEAT! DONT READ THIS!!!

a few years ago two parents went out to dinner. the babysitter called up and asked if she could cover the clown statue. the parents said for them to get out of the house and call the police, the clown statue was actually a serial killer. if you don't post this comment to 10 videos, at 3am the 'clown statue' will appear by your bed.

  • how do you lose weight fast if you have all day to give to exercise? is it intervals for hours?

  • @sweetkisses4uonly I can't answer that question thoroughly without knowing more about you. generally, slow and steady wins the race. be well. alycia

  • thanks for the breathing part tip

  • @jburckhardt You are very welcome. be well. alycia

  • Work your abs...blah blah blah....its all about the diet first, then exercise. Exercise is a small slice of getting the look

  • @3liftdoc yes diet is huge when achieving lasting results for size or body fat composition...doing the ab exercises is important, however, to improve strength. enjoy your day. be well. alycia

  • @3liftdoc
