No problem and the maps don't really take up much room i hardly notice it when i play it. Also if you want to unlock a characters 3rd costume you have to get their proficiency up to 10/50 which doesn't take that long to do.
How can you say that it's not even out yet. I am eagerly looking forward to it. Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors has never been about "graphics" with me. It's just fun.
It is out where i am i've had the game for a week now and i agree with you it is fun and the amount of things you have to do in this game are endless but fun to do.

It's because Sony is A media Juggernaut in Japan...Every game that released either go with Nintendo or Sony..Microsoft isn't that big in japan...The other reason is 360 cannot play xbox game..while the PS3 can play the PS2 games...doesn't make that much sense to release a game on a system which most people doesn't have anymore
Yeah that's true about Sony but Xbox 360 actually can play Original Xbox games however Releasing games on an old console makes the new ones seem like a waste of time and money.
yes the 360 can play the old Xbox but I'm talking playing without any additional software or emulator.I'm talking buying the games straight from the store and popping it in your console.About the "waste of time and money"..To me having a PS3 and buying a PS2 game for it is like have a a Blu Ray DVD player...Would you want a DVD Player that plays only Blu Ray DVD and not the regular DVD or you want a DVD player that plays both...when I first have the PS2, I mostly played PS1 games on it.

Really...that much?,Did You bought them from the store brand new..If you did the console should have a 3 month-1 year warranty on it,When My slim PS2 had a laser problem they replace it though I had to wait a few weeks for it to arrive.The one system I had problem was was the 360 I bought it for assassin Creed.3 days later the power light blinked and turn red...Then it never turn on, I ask the store salesman and he said that "Once the Console leave the store ,it's his/her responsibility"

That's odd if a console is broke you can get it replaced here as long as you have the reciept which is what i did with my first 360 Elite as it got a rare problem where the laser messed up just like with my ps2's and got another 1 which did get the ring of death but it fixed that easily by separating the power unit and reconnecting it and it hasn't done it since then.

LOL, DW 5 character movesets are almost exactly the same from DW3...DW would be so much more stronger if it incorporated Online mode, Empires and some XL modes.
I don't know why Nu Wa or Fu Xi got dropped, a shame really because Nu Wa kicks ass in DW3.

Not entirely the only things that are the same are the previous 71 characters and some of the stages used. This sequal has far more features than what the original one had you just haven't seen everything yet.

lol i completed Warriors orochi when i found out this 1 came on and i doubt it's gunna take until 2009 for a PS2 sequal game to be released outside of Japan when the last one which was also on 360 came out 6 months later (it was also released in april like this 1 was) in the US and Europe and speaking of 360 when will it be on 360?! the last one was and it makes no sense making it for just the PS2.

I have an ELITE! lol sorry about that XD even though it's my second one i still trust that it won't break and will last as long as my Xbox has plus im used to using triggers now instead of R2/L2 and i've had Halo 3 it's a pretty impressive game graphics wise but the story wasn't as good as Halo 2's but all and all i still liked the game.

Yeah i see your point but my first one was a limited edition Silver (Original) which cost me a lot and i did quite enjoy the games on it but after about 2 weeks i heard a loud buzzing noise which scratched the disk inside bad. So i was like damn i have to get another one and i did 8 more times because it kept happening until i had enough and got an Xbox Crystal instead which still works to this day however i do have a few PSP's (hacked) which i technically count as my 10th/11th PS2.
No one knows as it's only been announced on PS2 for some reason but i'm hoping it should be as the first one was. It wouldn't make sense to downgrade the game to an older console generation.

good they aded some new stages 2 DW old characters,SW 2 XL new characters and some original,also a versus mode but versus mode has almost always suck in DW,wonder wat else its new,i love combining atacks and combos.

Yeah they should make Samurai Warriors 3 first which will be like DW6 so that way the game looks more like a next gen game than a PS2 game no offence to anyone who has a PS2 still i'm just saying PS2's are old enough to be in a gaming Museum now they've had an impressively long run but it's time for it to pass the torch on to the next gen consoles now.
Not yet but it'll probably come out around the same time it did with the original one because the release date for this game in Japan is pretty close to the date that the original one that was released last year.
I hope the bodies stay down like in DW6. makes the game have a more realistic touch. and not dissapearing after every kill/ko. This has always infuriated me
Not exactily they started to develop it when DW6 was almost finished so that's why there are no DW6 character models in.
Also we would have to wait for SW3 to come out first anyway or the characters would look all odd and the game would be a jumble of DW6, SW2 and Warriors Orochi Characters.

Yeah it's the sequal to the first one and no it doesn't have CAW but then again it isn't needed as there are 94 playable characters in the game.

damn you're right i have Halo 2 on my pc and i am waiting for my Xbox 360 halo 3 version , so i can play halo 3 and of course('cause is classic) warriors orochi ^_^ XD

I have an ELITE! lol sorry about that XD even though it's my second one i still trust that it won't break and will last as long as my Xbox has plus im used to using triggers now instead of R2/L2 and i've had Halo 3 it's a pretty impressive game graphics wise but the story wasn't as good as Halo 2's but all and all i still liked the game.

Yeah i see your point but my first one was a limited edition Silver (Original) which cost me a lot and i did quite enjoy the games on it but after about 2 weeks i heard a loud buzzing noise which scratched the disk inside bad. So i was like damn i have to get another one and i did 8 more times because it kept happening until i had enough and got an Xbox Crystal instead which still works to this day however i do have a few PSP's (hacked) which i technically count as my 10th/11th PS2.

No one knows as it's only been announced on PS2 for some reason but i'm hoping it should be as the first one was. It wouldn't make sense to downgrade the game to an older console generation.

3 simple reasons:
1: Some characters from DW5 are not in DW6.
2: Samurai Warriors 3 hasn't been developed yet.
3 The DW6 Characters are Next Gen game Characters anyway and this game isn't a next gen game. (at least not for now)

Horse racing
This is a game mode that can be played by one or two players. The players' characters race each other or computer-controlled opponents mounted on horses. Players can attack each other with items. Mounts from the Samurai Warriors games can jump over obstacles.
Competitive mode
Two players compete against each other, accompanied by allied troops. Players eliminate as many enemy troops possible in a limited time.

Survival mode
A new addition to the game, this mode is the same as versus mode, with the difference being that players defeat as many opponents as possible.
Dramatic mode
Following the Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends Legend mode, this mode features stages using preset teams of three characters.

good they aded some new stages 2 DW old characters,SW 2 XL new characters and some original,also a versus mode but versus mode has almost always suck in DW,wonder wat else its new,i love combining atacks and combos.

Yeah they should make Samurai Warriors 3 first which will be like DW6 so that way the game looks more like a next gen game than a PS2 game no offence to anyone who has a PS2 still i'm just saying PS2's are old enough to be in a gaming Museum now they've had an impressively long run but it's time for it to pass the torch on to the next gen consoles now.

Not yet but it'll probably come out around the same time it did with the original one because the release date for this game in Japan is pretty close to the date that the original one that was released last year.

I hope the bodies stay down like in DW6. makes the game have a more realistic touch. and not dissapearing after every kill/ko. This has always infuriated me

Not exactily they started to develop it when DW6 was almost finished so that's why there are no DW6 character models in.
Also we would have to wait for SW3 to come out first anyway or the characters would look all odd and the game would be a jumble of DW6, SW2 and Warriors Orochi Characters.
