can your spells affect your allies? im getting this game soon, the ultimate edition and was woundering if you set off a big area effect spell can your party get hurt from it or just your enemies?
@bobsalo If you mean at the end where he kills the enemy and then taunts, that is from the first tactic being set to Self Stamina > 50% => Taunt. Tactics only fire in combat, and so this fired off as it was valid just as the mob was dying. You can see this when he taunts at the start of combat too.
defo get it, better than oblivion if uv played, (i think, i dont wanna start fight) and made is coool, but u can have multiple chars so u can make ranger which is cool, cuz it can tame beasts! HAVE FUN!
its more fun to play this game for second time, becouse you the story, but now you can play for another class, race and you can make other dessisions. So I would say it is defenitly worth its money if you like rpgs
i like to play "arcane" mage. No, i'm not AW but blood mage and i'm gonna choose shape shifter as 2nd. It's really nice cuz u have like 2 completely different gaming experience in 1 character!
as a blood mage you should use healer as 2cnd class because blood mage needs health instead of mana so you can heal yourself and cast without using pots and never run out of health or mana.....
i cant figure out which spells to buy. i am going to make a shapeshifter eventually (dont care that they suck, i like them) so i was wondering what spells i should buy. i already have the fire blast and weapons, heal LV1 and 2 and the frost one. i have skills in herbalism, poison making and combat tacticts, ANY ADVICE? my character is currently a lv 4 elf mage
Cone of cold, Spell Wisp, everything up to crushing prison and the whole sleep spell line are pretty good....but it really matters how you want to play your mage...there are tons of good spells.
id love this for my cpu, but i just got a xps M1530 dell...and it just plays game slike wow and spor eon medium settings or guild wars. stuff like that.
hmm i got xps m1530 aswell, and i can play this on highest with AA on x4, same for wow or spore all with decent fps, the problem is something else for you, maybe try update drivers or just do clean windows install.
my drivers are up to date, u know M1530 is a laptop right? and my graph card is good. it generates good graphics but its running speed i guess is to low? i got mc afee and no viruses and my graphics driver is up to date? i might pick it up for pc just for the heck of it cuz i dread it on 360 just wish there was a way to know before hand with a demo or sumthing. i dont enitirely trust 'can you run it?

how can i get windows xp for my laptop...will i have to install my games on it again (probaly a dumb question) but hey if its smoother for games then im all aboard
yeh you will, or if it's downloadable games or single player game saves just put them on cd/memory stick while you reinstall, so you won't loose them, but yeh if it's a laptop for gaming you should definetly have xp on it, xp is the best windows for gaming.

AFAIK It could be made that way via the toolset, but it is the nwn style autoattack by default.

I am not sure what you mean by 'click style', the short stint I had with Oblivion I used WASD movment IIRC.
I used WASD primarily here, but you can use a few methods to move your characters.

My system is an Opteron 170 (2.5 Ghz), 4gb DDR500 ram, 7950 GT.
With fraps, the fps is around 15-25, without it is 20-35.
Very High settings with 2x AA.
