  • The ones that forced the Native Americans to their religion were the catholics not the Christians!!..Ya'll Got it all wrong they claim they were christians but they werent. Its just like the kkk who claim their Christians yet they commit satanic criminal crime against anyone who isnt white!! The catholics are not christians...God will never ask anyone to commit criminal crimes.

  • @101mypage just as some people cannot imagine a life subjugated to various mythological celestial beings. I would suggest however that when dealing with other people do not assume they have the same needs as you concerning life and well being—simply because the teachings of Jesus Christ works for you doesn't mean it will work or should work for everyone else.

  • @EMPERORMIKI The teachings of Jesus are simple love, living your life in the path of God and his law spreading that piece and love to your fellow beings in order that they may live in better connection with the Almighty. Many fall away because this is to hard, every one needs those teachings but your free to choose.

  • @EMPERORMIKI“ If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you today, by loving the LORD your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, and the LORD your God will bless you. But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life.

  • @4295eye "if" ... you lose yourself there.

  • @4295eye sorry not buying it, but thanks anyway.

  • @EMPERORMIKI Your buying it is irrelevant your destruction or salvation is dependent upon you. Christ doesn't need your believe in him. Just like I wouldn't need you to catch my hand if you were falling, its there only for your salvation. Take it or leave it your choice. Simple you can believe gravity doesn't exist doesn't make it a reality. Would help you if you did but gravity needs your faith nor more than Christ does.

  • @4295eye well the thing is gravity is a well documented phenomenon that acts in predictable ways within our natural world, unlike your concepts of god. Your personal ideas of a god celestial mythological figure is hardly comparable to a physical thing such as gravity. You might as well compare your God to my watery shit I flushed down the toilet yesterday. There are other groups of humans who not only believe in some celestial being, they also claim you're wrong.

  • @EMPERORMIKI God has been documented and miraculous things have occurred. Scientist who denny God spend a lifetime trying to explain these things. There is no Mythology and God doesn't need to prove himself to a inferior being such as you. You think God needs to stoop down to your level or any humans for that matter. Won't matter because the stuffed scientist you sleep with at night will talk you into believing it was a dream. And its not my God there's only what you believe matters not.

  • @4295eye Perhaps, but which god? There are many our species has created you know. Bash science all you want—it has given us results unlike say prayer. And by results I mean the measurable, not some flimsy interpretation of chance. It's like witnessing some person leaving a hospital and attributing their recovery completely to god, as if the medications/surgery etc. had no effect. The technology we have (created by scientists) would be considered miracles by early man—I say that without laughing

  • @EMPERORMIKI Jahovah has shown himself many times. And wasn't created out of thin air. Scientist no so little of history its staggering. They have already found the cities of Sodom depicted in the bible. Scientist try and explain away miraculous happening due to faith for faith has no flaws. But they must prove it wasn't miraculous using the age old trick of explaining how nature is responsible for this things. But never why it happened at the Precise time it was always needed.

  • @4295eye actually it is you and others who claim so called miracles that need to prove your claims, not science as you say. Science is simply a method for observing and documenting physical realities which is then applied in numerous ways generally to the benefit of all. It is not faith based and is not beholden to any faith in any way. Again, scientists as you say, do not have to explain away miracles because they're not making that claim--you are and as such you need to prove your own claims

  • @EMPERORMIKI Nature doesn't work that way. It doesn't work precise it works random. Just because we have come far with our science means nothing of how far past centuries have come with there's. This is due again to a lack of historical knowledge. Science would have to bow to the bible for they still want to deny that the pyramids were built by man. When the bible and greek historians say they did. The bible is confirmed time and again. Science is losing ground when you put history into the mix

  • @EMPERORMIKI History tells us that the romans were working on Neuroscience before the dark ages. They were also preforming eye surgery. There is archaeological evidence of ppl preforming brain surgery in south america during the Incan empire. Scientist say when the pyramids where built the Egyptians didn't have the wheel technology yet they had it on there chariots. Science isn't matching the historical and other scientific evidence. Science is controlled by the rich and is a very poor defense.

  • Unlike say prayer?! Pray has won Wars if not for the prayers then science would have been in the dark ages. Those won battles that produced freedom have allowed science to travel where it did.

  • @4295eye what you said makes no sense, wars were won by prayers--nevermind the soilders participation, the planning, training, etc. It was all because of prayer i'm sure. And the dark ages were a direct result of an overreaching religious influence in many aspects of life. It was during this time that great scientsts like Galileo were persecuted by religious authorities for stating simple observable truths. Prayer may help you cope with life, but it has little value beyond that.

  • @EMPERORMIKI sorry typing to fast. its not Your God like some idol you worship he is God there's only one and he does exists. Your belief matters not.

  • @EMPERORMIKI yes there are other groups. Those who directly appose the almighty, They will be crushed God has created everything as well as his nemesis. There is no power greater than that. What they say and what the truth is are to different things.

  • A beautiful tribute to the varieties of honoring God...

  • Love the Ts

  • MATTHEW 6

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, HALLOWED BE THY NAME.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

    God bless :)

  • @BibleVerities "after the MANNER" that means "in this way" but not nessisarily in "these words" it does not say "IN THESE WORDS" pray ye,

  • i love the way you enunciate the words.

  • i have never heard navajo being spoken before...it is certainly a beautiful language

  • Psa 119:63 ESV

    (63) I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.

Thank you daybreakwarrior for the video.

Our Ancestors fought and died for our language. When the language dies the culture dies.

The Language is strong within you, it makes me proud to call you my relation.

    Heb 12:14 ESV

    (14) Strive for peace with everyone,..

  • Awesome perfectly spoken!

  • Always remember we are a people that were oppressed because of how others thought we should act, and believe. Having such a rich history we should also respect the choices that others make or else we become a contradiction and turn into the very people that we hate. Agreement and respect are two different things. Every living being is entitled to respect. It makes me sad to see people so hateful and hostile.

  • @ponimoya- that 'christianity isn't us' crap is such unnecessary nonsense. Christianity isn't Irish either- it replaced a religion thousands of years older but the Irish are today a flourishing people with one of the strongest identities there is. Get over it - Christianity is for everyone.

  • Beautiful. In Ireland Gaelic almost disappeared but is now making a colossal comeback. Irish Gaelic is the oldest language in Europe. The Navajo need to get it together and make their language their people's mother tongue again.

  • @iamlondon Irish Gaelic the oldest ? On what bases do you say that... all languages in Europe are pretty much as old(Depending on how you define it ). Gealic is just one of the Celtic languages part of the Indo-European language group. Also language is not anything static it is a constant change even if the change can change speed. Old English is not modern English, Italian was once Latin. Sorry just needed to correct you there :)

  • @Eopyk I don't being corrected...when the facts are straight. Irish Gaelic displays links to Sanskrit grammatical construct and syntax which newer Celtic languages do not. Neither can one compare the movement from Middle English to modern English - there is no corresponding movement in Irish Gaelic beyond a passing resemblance. It isn't a disputed fact that Irish Gaelic is the oldest extant vernacular. I'm surprised you even raise the question.

  • @iamlondon oh I forgot to awsner this. But the most conservative language from all I know is Lithuanian in Europe if you want something that is similear to Latin, Sanskrit etc then that is your tounge. How ever Irish Gallic may be close Lithuanian ( maybe can check it up later) but yeah I have heard that Irish Gealic is very old even if some influence from English have happend recently.

    All love and respect

  • At first glance, this looks like a hard language--harder than say Cherokee. But at least there's some reference to it. I couldn't find a damn thing on Apache! If only they taught these languages in schools alongside English, Obama wouldn't be telling us to be more bilingual than we are.

  • @CupisHomines And before anyone asks, the point is that we don't need to learn more imported languages like French or Japanese when we have homegrown ones here. As long as it's more than one language we can show them that we're just as intelligent as they are, even if it's not their language.

  • ...we dnt need christianity we need to preserve our identity as dine, language is a big part of our tradtional ways and culture u say u found christ and the light i think u just ran away from the real light and who u really are. stop this nonesense, its not u and not us. u and those like u remain one of the biggest threat tradtional ppl evrywhere fight wit us nt against us

  • ....we dnt need christianity we need to preserve our identity as dine, language is a big part of our tradtional ways and culture u say u found christ and the light i think u just ran away from the real light and who u really are. stop this nonesense, its not u and not us. u and those like u remain one of the biggest threat tradtional ppl evrywhere fight wit us nt against us

  • we all seem to know who we are, except you jesus never saved my life, but destroyed and divided it. you know who u should be, quit fightin it and get bak to the path of Hozho like the rest of us we could use a talented native speaker like u to combat reminents of assimilation.

  • You speak the language you like, you have the language you want. We have to respect choices and differences! This guy pronounces Navajo nicely!

  • BenKenobie 47, I pray God will open your eyes and break the ties of Satan that you will be with us in Heaven!!

  • This sounds really good :)

  • Just because this religion was forced upon you doesn't mean you have to practice it. It was forced on me to, but i got away from it and you can too.

  • I'm a Christian because I want to be! I don't want to leave it and why should I want to?

  • This comment I truly respect. Freedom of Worship...stand up to the instigators.

  • because you are assimilated.

  • @daybreakwarrior Thank you for the video. The language is strong within you. When the language dies the culture dies along with the people.

  • @daybreakwarrior Amen brother!

  • i agree i am a din'e who knows my language and im sayin this is a poor choppy rendering of praise.

I went to Israel i went to where the forefathers of Jesus and JOseph walked and i say god is one, and in everyone.

Im also sorry to say but this is sad, stop the cultural genocide, god is expressed in every language

  • Biga eh!

This is complete blashpomy of Dine' Bizaad. dooda dooda dooda! Do'aajit'iida! We need to return to our traditional teachings and way. just because the missionaries used their false rhetoric to scare the navajo people into christianity, doesn't mean we should tolerate it. Missionaries are nice people, but they go too far with their religion pushing it upon the people and nullifying the traditions.

  • @BenKenobie47

I'm filipino and this disgusting religion was also forced on my people. Luckily, I've broken free from these remnants of bondage and am now an atheistic buddhist.

  • @thecritiquevirtuoso My people were from the Soviet Union, and the atheists forced their atheism on us and murdered tens of thousands of our priests and bishops. Thankfully, the Soviet Union fell and we are able to go back to practicing Orthodox Christianity. Thank God!

  • @BenKenobie47 Sigh, unfortunately that's a decision they must make for themselves, it's a shame but the damage is done and repairs take a long time.

  • i really want to learn navajo

  • Im not from america, not an native american..But still the language is very beautiful, would be very nice to learn it..

Interesting that there is this kind of material translated, not the most popular thing nowadays.

(Im a Lutheran myself and I am very sad about the denial in people because of the "modern" culture)

  • then go learn it.
