where is this 6 secong vg car? their is nothing special about the vg motor except that it for some reason they blow up around 400hp on stock motor and blow head gaskets that take 9 HOURS to replace! the original 240s,260,280,and first gen 300zx's were great cars.they responded well to mods and cheap to fix. come to Virginia if you are so concerned about my car. ill be happy to destroy thoes rice 300zx's of yours. none of them are remotely clean.

And by the way, there are many streetable v's runnin 8's on relatively low boost and drag radials, all it takes is a bbc and 10-12 lbs of boost, of course supporting mods, and your in the 1000+ hp range. Since they are forced induction, they can be very streetable, since they usually have a mild, high lsa(lobe seperation angle) camshaft, which makes the idle pretty decent and subtle.

My 5 liter made 451 and 531 tq at only 10 pounds all stock except for the turbo kit. and spooled the mp70 around 2500 rpm. on my 351 setup. stock block built rotating assembly on a hotstide built by ramey built. i made 547 on the same boost on a borg warner s380. then tmade + 600 on 14 pounds.

@DVcustomZ 6 cyl in the 6's... Only a few Supras are in the 6's sir. Running 6's is a HUGE task to do. Especially if you don't have the displacement. Thanks for proving my point as well. Don't sell yourself short just because you bought a 4 cyl. They do work, it just takes a lot more effort to get the same thing out of it as a v8 thats all. So if you are gonna rep a 4cyl don't take the low road saying that you have a "disadvantage". Run what you brung end of story.

@o5socalsrt Actually your looking at it wrong there are plenty of 2jz in the 6's there are also VG30dett in the 6's the supra and the Z are heavy cars. both in excess of 3400lbs but the motors are tank and will handle what you throw at them. Closed deck cast iron block. I do not mke excuses I have never lost to a V8 I am confident my Z can stand up to any true DD performance v8 or other car

@super2ner Yes there are VG in the 6's. there is a big difference between VG30det and VG30deTT get it right. The only weakness of the VG is it is god awful to work on do to design. But it is one of the few imports designed to make TQ not just numbers that look good on a dyno. You know what a 550whp Z and a 900whp Supra have in common they both run 10's. How bout this know it all WHERE IS YOUR UPLOADED VIDEO OF YOU CAR???????
