I love these videos.....this one in particular is great for jewelery earrings, pendants. Your rounded stone or whatever your using can be placed and glued in the teacup. Of course your using very fine twine......little time consuming but cute:) THX for the videos.
i thought this tea cup was rally cute evn thoug it looks very complex i have recently become addicted o knots being a girl scout leader i wnton ur cte to learn te friendship knot i do alotof gimp wrk and friendship bracelets i love theseknots nd u make it real clear and easy although i found an even easier way for frendship kot w a sheet o paper 2 holes frm homemade gifts.cm from tobias i needed a easier way to teach 12 yr olds lol love themusic very relaxing!!! where can i get the sticker
@axdwdrgc so its use is that it has no use and is just for fun? I bet your the kind of guy who goes in for a colonoscopy for shits and giggles, huh? Your such a mook.
Fun! I have an old (mint condition) 60 meter climbing rope...this might make a cool basket for all my climbing gear in the house. Can the know keep going? or is the honey basket my best bet?
sir i have used simular knots called the tea cup or the butter cup knots many times on decorative knots such as a knot board or to add character to the corners i have also used them on picture frames to enhance the corners. you can also use an inverted three strand turks head for the same purpose
excellent vid, thanks very much! clear and not too fast. I'm not even a beginner, cos I find it hard to follow static pics and most vids are either too fast or you can't see clearly what is being done. this is great, and think I'll make it my first project, thanks again
yehhh! its a success , i made it , its not as neat as yours , but its looking nice , and one thing went wrong the inside not opened , but its still giving tea cup shape :) , i will try to make it clean and then post it ................... your guidance was awesome , just have to copy it , and hold the rope under control and you are done ,,,,,,,,,,,, THANKS...........ZA
i cant make the rope obey me , the nylon rope is very hard to handle so i decided to use cotton rope , but still i cant make it obey me :( , when i will be done i will try to post it .......ZA

I would like to use this knot to make an endcap for a tube which is approximately 3.5" in diameter. How could I go about enlarging this to fit?
