  • Nice planes, nice video, seems you are having a blast with your A/C. I enjoyed the video but that's a shame that the high speed low pass are fast forward.

Would be the best video out there at normal speed, do it some day! :)

Anyway, it's good to now there is still people buildig and flying crazy planes

  • I hate that I had to sell my Legacy. But I'm thinking about building a Glasair Turbine.

  • Nice video but the crapy music ruins it. We want to hear the engine and not some rock-crap band.

  • Cool video. Lame music.

  • had to watch it 6 times. great vid!

how much does a Turbine Legend cost? :-P

  • Why does every idiot have to have Song 2 to their fly-clip... I fucking hate song 2 now

  • @SuperSonicVegetarian

HUH?? You'd prolly rather hear some of that top gun crap??

ANYTHING is better than that garbage.. Don't bag the guy mate or we'll be listening to Kenny Loggins..

  • WOW...WOW...Don

  • mmmmm speed

  • the pix are flashing to quick

  • OMG that's so amazing...

I'm going to have to visit Springbank some day!!!

  • Dear Jetdoctr,

I really like some of your videos, in particular the "another day at the office... Turbine Legend style". Unfortunately though, this one is set private, apparently because someone started making stupid remarks.

My question? Can you allow me to visit your vids again (make me a friend), I'd really like that.

    Best regards,

  • nice toy to play with. nothing else.

  • what a low pass!

  • Are these planes a homebuilt?

  • I saw this guy flying this Garrette powered Legend on Airdogs.

It does 400 plus miles an hour and is just as fast as a lot of the smaller corporate jets out there today.

Oh did l mention that he was a Hornet driver in Cold Lake?

  • close, but requires a few corrections. airdogs wanted to do a show with us but have yet to do so. however we were on "wings over canada" episode #104

she does 400 knots (approx 460 mph)

the owner was a canadian CF-104 starfighter driver that flew out of germany

    the doc

  • @jetdoctr

Very uplifitng video. Today is Xmas and I am working in Afghan. Dreaming about my Glasiar III back home. I agree the images flash past a bit too fast but the music, etc, make this video the high point of my day.. Thank You! But sheesh now I might have to do another year over here to afford a turbine engine upgrade .... ho ho ho

  • what do I think? I think I want one!

  • nice AirCam on 1:22

  • Would like to be on one of those planes.

  • shit ya!!!!

  • UHUUUUUUU

  • What kind of airplanes are those?

  • Look like Lancairs.

  • Glasair III and a Turbine Legend are the 2 primary planes in the video..

  • I have to agree...the 'high energy' edits just aren't needed. The raw footage combined with the still photos would've been just awesome.

  • why fast forward the video? Lame.

  • totally lame, the only part not fast forwarded was taxing at the end (I guess that would have been way too silly). The nice planes should be shown real time.

  • once you make touchdown when do you use beta?

  • what are the g loads they can take?

  • dang thats amazing. you guys build these? how do you get a job like that?

  • well first you have to have the experience and/or training, second, you have to be in the right place at the right time.... or know the right people

  • doesnt lanny still own the company in winnsboro la? or do you just order kits and build them?

  • yea, as far as i know lanny still owns it. we dont sell kits, but are a builder assistance center

  • yup that makes sense. man that is cool. i would love to do that.

  • Rich boys and their toy, looks like a blast. What do you guys do for a living?

  • actually im one of the guys that built these creatures... thats what we do

  • Then pros to you being able to do this. Few people have your skill set.

  • HEY!jetdoctr is C-GMKA the lancair that had the gear failure and prop strike, and does BARNEY own two LANCAIR.

  • barney has only 1 L4 and both aircraft have had there glitches in the past. no injurys by either

  • Why is there a pic of an f-22?

  • show the video at real speed

  • it takes a lot of $cheese$ to have this kind of fun too!!!! those are big toys

  • Actually the Legend costs less than a cessna 172...under 130 Grand

  • i think thats just the kit cost. you have to pay for engine and other maintenance. i know lanny rundell. the guy that builds these in winsboro.

  • you guys are awesome!

  • awesome vid, just like all your vids! post more of this stuff :):):)

  • need to watch this in slow motion to make it real..rsrsrs..

  • Beautiful planes indeed. The is actually at normal speed.

  • some beautiful representations of some amazing composite airplanes. I would love to see this video at regular speed too, as I know the speeds of the airplanes in this vid would be equally amazing even at 1X. Great video! Not enough lancair vids on youtube today, thanks for adding this!

  • I was just thinking the same thing. The footage in the video is NOT normal speed.

  • true, some has been sped up and some at normal speed..... its to go with the pace of the tune.... final approaches can get a little boring at 90 kts
