Is it just me or does the sound of the ships weapons at 0:30 sound like sniper rifle shots? I had that on my game and I just figured my sound was fucking up but in this vid it does it as well. lmao.
The geth have a massive army the bad geth make up only what was it 0.5% of the race and they had a pretty big armada if the good geth come to shepards aid theyd have the largest non reaper fleet in the galaxy also the arachni if you helped them and the krogan will be a massive boost still if every race in the galaxy banded together itd still be tough.
@Sherpard1 Most of the quarian ships in there fleet are almost 300 years old and or salvaged, tali will tell you In engine room in one of the convos as well as mentioning it in ME2 on her loyalty mission.
In other words sure there is like 50000 of them estimated from what she says in ME2 but there all outdated and no doubt not gonna hold up too well under heavy fire from modern warships weapons and more powerful shields.

Rachni will not doubt help but you don't know how much they rebuilt in 2 years so might not be as big as expected. with Cerberus AND Sheppard AND the Alliance against the Reapers not even 300 of them could succeed (it would still be very much like the movie "300" reverse)
@SoapMacTavishh I agree. ME2's was great too. But as far as emotional connections goes, this was the best. Also need the next scene, 'that's right, it'll take more than a stray piece of space debris to keep Shepard down' feeling, as the music comes to fruition, and Shepard comes slightly limping out of the wreck with a smile across his/her face. I have to say, after watching this vid, that I am disappointed with human weapon tech in mass effect. In the halo saga, WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF MASS EFFECTING TECH, A UNSC Frigate is able to accelerate a 3,000 POUND slug of tungsten to 1/8th the speed of light, whereas the Everest class accelerates a 3 KILO slug to 3% the speed of light....there is something wrong here...

I like how the illusive man in ME2 looks at a derelict reaper thats been taken out by a fixed gun turret on a planet beneath it, and thinks to himself, well we need the reaper IFF to combat the collectors. But never once considers that although the area is unstable in places, humanity might well do a little better against Reapers in future with a gun that can take out Reapers in what would look like a single shot.
@ImCool771 Erm sorry but my comment wasn't about this video imparticular, it was about part of ME2 where they find an already derelict reaper in stasis above a planet which has an enormous gun emplacement on it, which wipes out the Reaper by itself, there are no other ships mentioned at all, i believe your talking about this cutscene where many ships are firing at Sovereign. Unless i'm missing something glaringly obvious here.

@scorpmk Nudging a Reaper that has full shields is sure as hell better than anything the council and alliance have, they only took Sovereign out because it was over confident in itself and lost its shields. Oh and if you look carefully at my comments i never said that they killed a Reaper directly, i just said they took it out. Everytime they showed his face in the closeups his eyes looked like some kind of blue robot eyes. That is also why I thought he was so curious about the derelict reaper ship. @Kekkon3n I did have that theory at one stage also, but Shephard also has similar looking eyes as a paragon due to his reconstruction being intertwined with his personality. I think that the Reapers probably came about in the same way that the Geth did you no, machines aren't born or evolved which is why the Reapers rely on organics for reproduction, so we must then assume that something else made them, i think they rebelled and won, but why they would hate the Geth is interesting.

@SlashcrossXD Seen the ME3 trailer? You can see many Sovereign class ships touching down in the city of London. Reports also state that the same is happening elsewhere. I think it's safe to say Sovereign was a pretty standard Reaper. (although you may also notice those smaller craft like the one that was shining the light on Big Ben.)

Well it took at least 300 ships to kill one Reaper and at the end of Mass Effect 2 there were at least 300 seen but lets just say there are 1000 so that means Shepard's gonna need at least 300,000 ships to kill them all not including any collecter or other slave ships they might have.... If you don't know what that is, it means that the more ninjas there are in a scene, the easier they are to kill. If there's only one he's probably special, or just takes too damn long to kill (which also makes him special).

Ah, but EDI and Normandy SR-2 both contained reaper tech. Enough to allow EDI to hack collector/reaper hardware. And after escaping the collector base in ME2, you see a datapad with a picture of multiple reapers in the hands of the Normandy's crew. Presumably data stolen while you blew holes in a reaper larva using conventional weapons.
@Supergibb It's a little too late for that already as I've completed ME2 multiple times. Didn't get the first due to people saying the second was so much better and I only intended to buy one at the time. Maybe I might get it at some point for the sake of importing a Shephard.
@Naijarianman trust me, importing a shepard adds so much more content to ME2. If i played ME2 first i wouldn't of been able to understand what the hell was going on, i highly recommend playing the first one.
I really hope so! Mass Effect 3 has the potential to be one of the best games ever made. I would like it to be harder than Mass Effect 2, though. As much I play games for the stories and characters, a challenge doesn't go amiss, either.

@stoogemoedude The Thanix cannon. That was a spinal mounted magnetic accelerator cannon. Like the main cannons from the human ships in the Halo series. It's the same thing those cruisers are using on Sovereign, the slow firing rounds. The Thanix cannon is a mini version the turians made from Sovereign's laser cannon looking thing.(which is actually a Super mass accelerator.)

Mass Effect 2 last scene wasn't emotional, it was actually dark and scary, epic also, but not as emotional as this one.

I like how the illusive man in ME2 looks at a derelict reaper thats been taken out by a fixed gun turret on a planet beneath it, and thinks to himself, well we need the reaper IFF to combat the collectors. But never once considers that although the area is unstable in places, humanity might well do a little better against Reapers in future with a gun that can take out Reapers in what would look like a single shot.

@ImCool771 Erm sorry but my comment wasn't about this video imparticular, it was about part of ME2 where they find an already derelict reaper in stasis above a planet which has an enormous gun emplacement on it, which wipes out the Reaper by itself, there are no other ships mentioned at all, i believe your talking about this cutscene where many ships are firing at Sovereign. Unless i'm missing something glaringly obvious here.

@scorpmk Nudging a Reaper that has full shields is sure as hell better than anything the council and alliance have, they only took Sovereign out because it was over confident in itself and lost its shields. Oh and if you look carefully at my comments i never said that they killed a Reaper directly, i just said they took it out. Fair point though, but i'm sure the other guy that commented was thinking of the wrong Mass Effect game altogether lol.

@scaryninja1693 Kinda off topic but I thought throughout the whole game that the illusive man was a reaper or some sort of avatar for reapers. Everytime they showed his face in the closeups his eyes looked like some kind of blue robot eyes. That is also why I thought he was so curious about the derelict reaper ship. Also keeping the collector base up and running.. Trying to manipulate shepard, although the ending kinda ruined that theory abit..

@Kekkon3n I did have that theory at one stage also, but Shephard also has similar looking eyes as a paragon due to his reconstruction being intertwined with his personality. I think that the Reapers probably came about in the same way that the Geth did you no, machines aren't born or evolved which is why the Reapers rely on organics for reproduction, so we must then assume that something else made them, i think they rebelled and won, but why they would hate the Geth is interesting.

@Kekkon3n The God complex is easily explained though, if i spent an unfathomable amount of time creating life based on the earliest form of technology that i had already surpassed, then destoyed it no matter how different it was while (to our knowlege) barely losing a single member of my own race, i'd be a bit arrogant as well. Which only serves to add to the awesomeness of the moment where Shephard will finally get a Reaper to be noticably pissed off in ME3 rather than it just being irritated.

Can't wait for the third one, I just hope they'll lean a bit more to the rpg side of things. Well I'm very pleased if they won't dumb it down any more from the second one. Also I hope that ME3 won't have any dlc story chapters coming, I just want to finish the full epic story when I get the game. I'll gladly pay up to 80-90 euros for this game if I'll include the "xtra" content, right off the bat.

@SlashcrossXD Seen the ME3 trailer? You can see many Sovereign class ships touching down in the city of London. Reports also state that the same is happening elsewhere. I think it's safe to say Sovereign was a pretty standard Reaper. (although you may also notice those smaller craft like the one that was shining the light on Big Ben.)

Well it took at least 300 ships to kill one Reaper and at the end of Mass Effect 2 there were at least 300 seen but lets just say there are 1000 so that means Shepard's gonna need at least 300,000 ships to kill them all not including any collecter or other slave ships they might have.... If you don't know what that is, it means that the more ninjas there are in a scene, the easier they are to kill. If there's only one he's probably special, or just takes too damn long to kill (which also makes him special).

Ah, but EDI and Normandy SR-2 both contained reaper tech. Enough to allow EDI to hack collector/reaper hardware. And after escaping the collector base in ME2, you see a datapad with a picture of multiple reapers in the hands of the Normandy's crew. Presumably data stolen while you blew holes in a reaper larva using conventional weapons.

@stoogemoedude The Thanix cannon. That was a spinal mounted magnetic accelerator cannon. Like the main cannons from the human ships in the Halo series. It's the same thing those cruisers are using on Sovereign, the slow firing rounds. The Thanix cannon is a mini version the turians made from Sovereign's laser cannon looking thing.(which is actually a Super mass accelerator.)
