I don't know, John. When I was young I played sports constantly when the sun shone, and read constantly when it did not. So, I was a pretty good athlete, and a voracious reader, mostly because I needed to escape an unpleasant childhood, and both those pursuits kept my mind occupied, and focused inwardly. I hardly ever spoke, and it took a long time to break out. But, I think I also qualify for a plot of land in Nerdfighteria, in spite of my athletic endeavors, which in no way made me popular.

@kmarygxc that "creepy furby sticker" that you referred to actually isn't a furby at all it is a gremlin. And not just any gremlin either, it is Gizmo. The sticker, more than likely,came with a set of Gremlins trading cards created by the trading card company Topps as a promotion for the movie in 1984. I was a child of the early 90's and Gremlins was one of my favorite movies, but he it does resemble a furby but the true inspiration for the furby design was most likely an owl of some variety.
