From 1966-1986 the Raiders had the best winning percentage of ANY sports franchise in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL.
And then for the next 20-plus years they have been woefully non-competitive, with the exeption of the '99-02 seasons.

AL DAVIS, first get some some good god damn talent at especially the WR positon that is the reason Russel was so good in college but instead of getting a couple good WR's he goes and gets Javon Walker. Walker did make a probowl in 04 but he has only had 2 good seasons. And please Davis please keep a head coach for more than just 1 or 2 years. This is definitely not enough time to turn a team around.
