Is there a way to freeze the text once it gets onto the slide? I just wanted it to crawl in but stay.

@mizkhyla you can do that by using the 'Fly In' animation. Just adjust the settings by making it 'From Left' or 'From Right' instead of "From Bottom". Also, if you want to make it slower, you may want to set the speed by following the same steps shown in this video.
