Yes that can be tricky stuff. Try this: Its all about the motion of the vehicle. Get a feel for the speed of the vehicle and point your crosshair BEHIND your target. The the moving 'hog bring your aim up for you. This is much more reliable than moving your aim around on a moving vehicle and you cannot even scope.

The Spartan Laser is probably my favorite weapon in Halo 3, and now I've got to see this awesome montage!

Some criticism: Transitions between clips felt jarring and immediate, and there were sometimes when you clipped it off after getting one kill. You can get a nice kill on Saved Films, but the footage can be tainted if another enemy kills you right afterward but you cut that part out by editing.

My favorite bits were with the Hornet-assisted Splazer kills.

you have to understand that when cutting clips together one clip has to flow to the next clip. Due to the intesity of most of Sanctious' clips it was necessary to do it this way. Keeps the action of the video intense and not so dry as some the other montages I've seen out there
