  • this sounds exactly like the engine in my dads car, very cool by the way!

  • thats awesome! thumbs up if you think lego stores should start selling gears and lego should start producing more pnematics!

  • wow!

  • how do you control the engine speed?

  • @pendulumrulez air pressure?

  • @gcndavidmn No like, is there a lever, a button, or what?

  • Quad cam, nice.

  • wow

  • Lego Mindstorm and knowing engines

  • does it come in a kit or can u give me the plans or better yet can u make a video on how u made thanks alot

  • these engines are not official LEGO sets. these were homemade and take alot of time and is probably too complicated to post instructions in a video

  • @Noobtms if you want instructions go see nicjasnos webpage. he has step by step instructions for a v8 there

  • check this page for instructions (around middle)

    fifth-r. c o m /cssoh1/engine.htm

  • @Thebigbambeano dude its a homemade design way too complicated to make in a video

  • hm...i guess this peunamtic engines have a very high turning moment, so the axis might brake if you try to run a heavy lego car with it... :P

  • @Condor1815 tell nicjasno that. lol

  • yours is AWSOME!! all my camshaft does is explode :(

  • what do they run on

  • air

  • how can you make it. I can not build it tell me that please

  • id feel bad if he dropped it lol nice work

  • pretty cool man i like it

  • Children have gone smarter... EVERYONE HIDE FROM THE INFANT.

  • If you could try to send more power to it, like 15000 rpm, that would be awesome! 5*

  • that would cause a catastrophic failure. it would become unstable and catch fire.

  • What scares me is that it really would catch on fire if it didn't melt fast enough.

  • WAW i made hands when i was into lego!!!!! and arms but this is the best !!!!!!! WAW!!!

  • where does the pressure bleed off too?

  • 好

  • lmaooooo

    wtffff

this shits amazing how do these things work

what are they being pumped by ?

    how does the combulsion happen?

    i see the camshafts....

    this shit is sweet

  • Compressed air.

  • there is no combustion... it's just compressed air being fed through pneumatic cylinders. And if you read the description it would tell you that the source of power is an air compressor (air pump).

Yeah I know it's pretty awesome as to what you can do with lego.

  • There is no combustion.

  • I was just replying to someone elses comment, he said there was combustion.

  • crank shaft works good

  • are you able to post a video or something, that shows HOW to build it... or just showing how its build up?

    -Cristian-

  • you should put a turbo and gearbox on to it! xD

Very nice, worked this out yourself?

  • very cool!

  • That....is....AWESOME!

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh

  • how many bhp??

  • that's so damn cool!

  • wow! thats cool! how did you make it??

  • DOHC and Balance shafts? man that is COOL

  • more pressure!!

  • where do you buy pnuematics

  • that's the most colourful V6 i've seen, ever

  • lol really

  • u should see mine.

  • no .

  • lol neat

  • yeah i know, oh no. even better, you put it in a model car and the car jumps and the engine breaks when it lands lol

  • im sorry but it looked like the pnuematic pumps did nothing but for show. they didnt move. i dont get it. exlain??

  • They do- you can see the pistons moving inside them. The cylinders are held stationary and link to the crankshaft by the thin liftarms, so the cylinders don't rock from side to side in this engine- this makes it stronger and more stable

  • cool!! This must be very hard to build!

  • impressive

  • Question for the builder: Is the point to simply mimic a gasoline engine and make it look cool (which it does)? Wouldn't it have less energy waste if you made a simpler engine for whatever lego object you are running...meaning more power is converted and transferred? Am I missing something, or is this simply for looks?

  • if you could build a car you could put the engine in it

  • very nice

  • it wuld be cool to see a pneumatic powered lego gun

  • cool

  • how long did that thing take to make i bet u were there 4 days lol

  • This looked uselessly complex, but probably because I had no idea what was happening. It looked neat though. I thought I was cool making a rubber band powered Lego cannon. =/

  • i made a block with pistons and a crankshaft once but i had no idea how to make power out of it

  • can u put some instructions on here please

  • Awesome !!!

  • did u used the siemens logo!?

  • how do u make it is it using the small pneumatic rams??

  • the lego kits come with small lego cylanders

  • is this a kit then

  • no but some of the other car and truck kits come with cylanders so you take them off of those kits.

  • lol if it was a kit it be desant color.

  • no some sets do and for some reason there expensive and only sole in "England unless bought of E-Bay or Dacta

  • are we gonna have plastic or polymer lego engines in future...sounds mad but after watchin this i m dreaming to have one..ha ha

  • Oh that is so cool - even looks like the real thing - you need to build a gear box for it now

  • u make me wanna make 1

  • Now build a turbo for it.. jk idk wtf that would be.

  • Epic. REV IT!!! Awesome job.

  • now make a horizontally opposed H6 Subaru

  • damn thats pretty sweet

  • Really amazing.

  • lol cool man

  • that would be awsome to have for a giant lego car. does it look like an engine or can it work like a real engine

  • it depends on how it works, it might be able to be put in a lego car by the looks of of it.

  • !dang
