This makes ppl practicing this sovereign freeman on the land stuff, look bad. You dont need to be an asshole, you need to be a respectful human when informing the cop of your rights.
Even though he was unlawfully pulled over and stopped by the police officer, he was totally rude and disrespectful. He should have kept him calm and just stuck to his rights.
All he had to do is let them do what they want, then charge them later.
The officer was very respectful, he just wasn't aware of the guys rights.
Personally I think this video is just propaganda to make sovereigns/freemen look like villains, because it shows how some can be.
Hahaham this fucker watches too many american TV shows. It's a shame this wasn't america though, because that "assault" would have been 60 times amplified.
no matter that the man was angry and used profanity. he is still in the right. under common law, he is only liable if injury or damage is caused; none of which is the case here.
@Myaucat You lose your "rights" when you are drinking and driving. If you give an officer a reason to suspect you are drunk, the law in Canada says that gives the officer the right to investigate further. If you refuse to take a breathalyzer, the officer then has the right to bring you to the police station to administer the test there. This video was taken near my hometown, and the officer was my neighbor. The kid was charged with drinking and driving, and I don't feel bad for him.
@LyMizukage oh yeah! thanks for reminding me: what's what this "god-given rights" BS? last i checked, the canadian system of jurisprudence didn't stem from the Old and New Testaments.
"oblivious to his duty"~!? the kid is oblivious to his duty as a driver - he was caught speeding - WRONG. he refused a breath test - WRONG. the officer does NOT have to provide a business card - he just has to provide his badge number. i don't find this funny at all - the kid is so annoying i just want to punch him in the head.
@threenorns3 he doesn't even have to provide a badge number.... if he's wearing a nametag it's all good, but you are right badge number, nametag pretty much the same
I dont know Canadian law but if this guy was in AZ cops would just get a warrant and force him to give blood and then MVD would suspend his license for a year.
@notesandstrings you're right, I was aware of the fact that it is in canada, and I was referencing the fact that on youtube, many comments defending the police come from republican-leaning people, and the opposite would be libertarians/liberals. My mistake for not clarifying.
lol, dude smells like alcohol, admits to having ingested alcohol before driving, and suggests as a defense to that the common-law of the land does not count for him. Hilarious. This cop is a damn saint for not throwing the cuffs on him and bouncing his head off the cruiser on the way in.

Wow in America if you got out of your car without the cop telling you to do so you would be thrown to the ground and arrested and taken to jail on the spot.

If you are unfamiliar with the "Sovereign Citizen" movement, I recommend you check out the Southern Poverty Law Center's work on them in the last few SPLC Intelligence Reports.
Not to mention that the common law is what allows legal precedent to be binding in later cases. It does not mean, "I do not agree with you, so you can fuck off"
The Magna Carta? The Magna Carta has absolutely nothing to to with this, and in fact doesn't have anything to do with the commons. It was an agreement between the King and his BARONS.
The guy who was pulled over is a prime example of a fucking dumbass.
He demands that the officer show that he has a reasonable suspicion that the guy is commiting a crime right after showing that he has alchohol in the vehicle, was pulled over for speeding, and admitted to having had some drinks.
This loser is just prooves that a little information is a bad thing, especially when it comes to the frreman movement. Too many people who are full of themselves.

"get your fucking hand off me! wheres your fucking business card, wheres your badge, wheres your identification? youre not even in uniform, youre not a peace officer, youre not a police officer, youre just some clown in a fucking custom right now!"
If he was going 115mph in an 80mph zone, and he didn't get arrested for that alone, fuck Canadian law. I'm unfamiliar with metric vehicular speeds, but 25% over the speed limit still seems fucking ridiculous and enough that if I was a cop, I'd immediately haul your potentially murderous ass to jail.
I don't think this guy should have been so defensive right off the bat, especially if he didn't have anything to hide. I would love to be pulled over by this cop over any of the others who have.
Lol SSMPozer this cop treats the dude with respect. The guy does not understand Canadian law very well. Police are allowed to pull over anyone for any reason and check breath. After getting pulled over for speeding too O.o?
Don't know which part of Canada that video came from, but where I live if I had done that I would be in hand cuffs with a few shots to the ribs or shot by the time i had tried to open that trunk up
Also, this punk is lucky he wasn't in the US, he'd have been shot at one of two points: stepping out of the car with an unknown object in his hand, or getting something out of the trunk and turning slowly....
I don't know who this guy is but man is he humorous. I'm not one hundred percent sure about the breath test part but by driving over the speed limit you have "breached" your right to do so. You can't expect to be able to speed wherever you please and figure that no one will stop you. Plus, in BC there is a revamped drinking and driving law, and two beers may over the limit. Be lucky this guy was patient
Great Job Cst. Smith, I have to say that the Constable was extremely patient with this moron. Much more patient than he deserved! Time to grow up young man, stop drinking and driving and start acting like a responsible member of society. What an idiot!
lmao for all of you who dont know a thing about the law or criminal justice ... refusal to blow is a guilty admittance, and the guy clearly stated that he waved the right to contact a lawyer... so he is nothing more than an idiot. He admitted to having consumed alcohol... he did this himself.
This guy should have been told once he was under arrest. If he resisted he should have been dealt with accordingly. There was way too much tolerance by the officer. The perp is just another anti-government loser. He's probably been charged with impaired driving before.
he is refusing the officer already giving the right to arrest him, and that is resisting an officer already giving that officer the right to take him to HQ and he littered with his cigarette!!!!!
he is refusing the officer already giving the right to arrest him, and that is resisting an officer already giving that officer the right to take him to HQ
SSMPozer.....you are nothing but a fucking idiot. I really appreciate all of your American terms like "MIRANDIZE ME" You are so stupid and ignorant that you don't even know you are in CANADA. For you to put this on YouTube thinking that you are going to make the policeman look bad BUT the reality is THE POLICEMAN LOOKS VERY PROFESSIONAL and you look like the moron......nicely done PINHEAD! Move out of your parents basement and try to become a contributing member of society......GOOF!
Typical drunken idiot. Most people would have overreacted in the face of such adversity but this officers response was exemplary. Most common folk would not have showed this incredible restraint. The abuse here is that in most countries of the world this clown would have been shot or taken into detention and never seen again. He is abusing the freedom and democracy we all take for granted.
What I'd like to know is who is SSMPozer and how did he/she get this video that was shot from inside the police car? How do these video's and others like we see on youtube & TV get out there for the public to see? Aren't they the property of the RCMP? I guess there are law breakers everywhere? What else is sick is that this guy seems to have practiced his speach just for this occassion............scarry!
Obviously Mr. Mitchell is a complete MORON. He illustrates why some animals eat their young and why some people just shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. Perhaps the Pro-Choicers would like to recruit him as the poster child for a campaign to legalize retro-active abortion.
1. lucky he wasn't shot before the trunk got open.
2. idiot for giving up rights for a lawyer, admitting he had any alcohol, running his mouth, etc.
3. if your going to get out of your car be sure the car is locked with the windows up
4. dumb fuck for speeding
5. its criminal to drunk and drive, PERIOD!!
I do not trust any cops but the way I see it this guy is an idiot and luck to be breathing and since he is he might want to check into the science of common sense.
So here we have a drunk guy who was pulled over for speeding, then thought he'd get of his car and light a smoke to prevent the cop from detecting the strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the car while being arogant enough to think he can pull it off. He tries the old "two beers" line and when he is immediately faced with a breathalyzer he becomes indignant because this officer obviously doesn't know how smart he is and how he should be getting away with it lol. The rest is just bullshit
This makes ppl practicing this sovereign freeman on the land stuff, look bad. You dont need to be an asshole, you need to be a respectful human when informing the cop of your rights.
This makes us all look like idiots.

That kid violated my common law right to not have to listen to such stupidity.
Blarneystone100 11 months ago 3
Haha. He knew all the laws, unfortunately he was arguing out of his ass. "I have not committed any crime"...he was going 116 in an 80. That's enough.

How is this unlawful arrest :S
Apinay7 11 months ago 63
Law and Legislation(from the L.A.) are the same thing.
The kid waved his right to a lawyer. WTF?
Refusing to submit to a breathalyser is a crime. Especially after you confessed to drinking alcohol before driving.
I fucking hate punks who think they know the law.

I would've beat the shit outta that kid if I was that cop. Jesus Christ

Heh, if I was the cop, I would have charged him with littering at 5:25
ChrisPikula 11 months ago 2
If he was going 115mph in an 80mph zone, and he didn't get arrested for that alone, fuck Canadian law. I'm unfamiliar with metric vehicular speeds, but 25% over the speed limit still seems fucking ridiculous and enough that if I was a cop, I'd immediately haul your potentially murderous ass to jail.
I don't think this guy should have been so defensive right off the bat, especially if he didn't have anything to hide. I would love to be pulled over by this cop over any of the others who have.

@sobu219 km/h
Tubloko 11 months ago
@sobu219 Canada goes by km/h. 115 is only around 70.
TheFuryofJesus 11 months ago 2
Lol SSMPozer this cop treats the dude with respect. The guy does not understand Canadian law very well. Police are allowed to pull over anyone for any reason and check breath. After getting pulled over for speeding too O.o?
FloodPower 11 months ago 53
Don't know which part of Canada that video came from, but where I live if I had done that I would be in hand cuffs with a few shots to the ribs or shot by the time i had tried to open that trunk up

hahahaha the cop's silence at 4:33
I just know hes giving him an "is this guy fucking kidding me?" look
I wish we had cops like this around here, seems like a standup guy.
WaffleRofl 11 months ago 3
Also, this punk is lucky he wasn't in the US, he'd have been shot at one of two points: stepping out of the car with an unknown object in his hand, or getting something out of the trunk and turning slowly....

I don't know who this guy is but man is he humorous. I'm not one hundred percent sure about the breath test part but by driving over the speed limit you have "breached" your right to do so. You can't expect to be able to speed wherever you please and figure that no one will stop you. Plus, in BC there is a revamped drinking and driving law, and two beers may over the limit. Be lucky this guy was patient
Joelyroely123 11 months ago
Great Job Cst. Smith, I have to say that the Constable was extremely patient with this moron. Much more patient than he deserved! Time to grow up young man, stop drinking and driving and start acting like a responsible member of society. What an idiot!
rcmppiper 11 months ago
Hope he keeps this kind of illegal behavior in Canada where obviosly cops are scared. If he brings it across the border he's gonna have a bad day.

lmao for all of you who dont know a thing about the law or criminal justice ... refusal to blow is a guilty admittance, and the guy clearly stated that he waved the right to contact a lawyer... so he is nothing more than an idiot. He admitted to having consumed alcohol... he did this himself.
babypink111 11 months ago
This guy should have been told once he was under arrest. If he resisted he should have been dealt with accordingly. There was way too much tolerance by the officer. The perp is just another anti-government loser. He's probably been charged with impaired driving before.

Move out of your parents basement and try to become a contributing member of society......GOOF!

i think there should be a IQ test done for people who apply for a license.

The driver in this video has no clue about the law. He acts like an ignorant, drunken fool while the police officer remains calm and professional.
Great video example of good police work, but improperly labelled.
scarecrowschofield 1 year ago 2
Typical drunken idiot. Most people would have overreacted in the face of such adversity but this officers response was exemplary. Most common folk would not have showed this incredible restraint. The abuse here is that in most countries of the world this clown would have been shot or taken into detention and never seen again. He is abusing the freedom and democracy we all take for granted.
Aftica6969 1 year ago
What I'd like to know is who is SSMPozer and how did he/she get this video that was shot from inside the police car? How do these video's and others like we see on youtube & TV get out there for the public to see? Aren't they the property of the RCMP? I guess there are law breakers everywhere? What else is sick is that this guy seems to have practiced his speach just for this occassion............scarry!
dullo15 1 year ago
The police are mighty patient I'd say. Doubt this kind of behavior is helpful in the long run.

Obviously Mr. Mitchell is a complete MORON. He illustrates why some animals eat their young and why some people just shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. Perhaps the Pro-Choicers would like to recruit him as the poster child for a campaign to legalize retro-active abortion.
Ercoupe451C 1 year ago
1. lucky he wasn't shot before the trunk got open.
2. idiot for giving up rights for a lawyer, admitting he had any alcohol, running his mouth, etc.
3. if your going to get out of your car be sure the car is locked with the windows up
4. dumb fuck for speeding
5. its criminal to drunk and drive, PERIOD!!
I do not trust any cops but the way I see it this guy is an idiot and luck to be breathing and since he is he might want to check into the science of common sense.
19868441 1 year ago
So here we have a drunk guy who was pulled over for speeding, then thought he'd get of his car and light a smoke to prevent the cop from detecting the strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the car while being arogant enough to think he can pull it off. He tries the old "two beers" line and when he is immediately faced with a breathalyzer he becomes indignant because this officer obviously doesn't know how smart he is and how he should be getting away with it lol. The rest is just bullshit
