Thanks for the lyrics MMFFXX! What do you think of the vid quality? Oli used her digital camera and we produced this using Cyberlink Powerdirector. We discovered if we take the raw .MOV file from the camera and produce a .AVI file using powerdirector, then edit the .AVI file and produce the final in a .MPG2 the results and editing process are much smoother. Took awhile to figure this out though!

commercial software .... brrr! I use VirtualDub and Goldwave, but if you already got yours, i say use it!

But why do you convert it to Mpeg2? That is only used in DVDs! For uploading, or just storage, a normal AVI is enough. Mpeg2 is a HUGE format and it deforms the width/height ratio!

Thanks for the comment - when I produce a .AVI file it is huge. When I produce a .MPG file it is much smaller. For some reason, the FPS are goofy on my camera and PowerDirector does a real poor job at handling it so it took experimenting to get a half-way decent movie. I'll look into VirtualDub and Goldwave - Powerdirector can be flaky - and not in a good "pie crust" kind of way!
