I am PISSED OFF that issue 2 failed. Oh well on the plus side time to FIRE BAD teachers. Aw BOO - FUCKING - HOO. Budget cuts must be made so... YOU FIRST BITCH.
Nope, not help for you fools is there! believe you unions and continue sending your money to the top dogs and all around the world. you do not do your own research, you are lead around by a bunch of thugs who tell you what to do! Don't worry about me, I won't comment on your post anymore, there is no hope for you!
@midnightsky41 Think. The politicians are public employees that have exempted themselves from this bill. These hypocrites should be the first to take pay cuts and remove their own benefits IF they believe in their validity.
so I see, you all want to pay for those teachers pensions, you must be teachers and all those others who think that the rest of us owe you something.....we have to pay for our pensions, you should contribute to your's, it shouldn't be paid for by the rest of us, at least not totally, if at all! Whinners and cheaters and hey don't have any personal responsibility! we know, we owe you!
@midnightsky41 So, I see you are brainwashed with the rhetoric that supports the control of Ohio gvts. by big money special interest groups and corporations. When did the US Constitution Preamble get changed to "We the Corporations...." ? Issue 2's 304 pages of subterfuge is about dismantling our infrastructure and attacking the middle class.
@Baggs4299 when did it get changed to we the people need to pay pensions and health care for public workers? And where does it say that police, fire, and nurses and all the other public sector jobs need to be public unions and paid for by the tax payer and we get no say. they get to earn double what the rest of us make and we get to pay for their retirement and healthcare for life! that's sounds like something in the constitution tro me! NOT!
@midnightsky41 watch?v=-q8LiVEJo9g Happened gradually when corps took away the benefits of the private sector working class. Now those that think that our Gvt. should be run like a corporation want U to blame the public sect. employees for what they've earned fairly. Plz. ask why are these politicians trying to dismantle gvts infrastructure without taking ANY concessions. Stop listening to the ads and ask yourself why issue 2 is 304 pages long. Then if U read it & understood it. Vote.
@midnightsky41 Public Employees have10% of their salaries automatically taken out for their retirement. This does NOT mean that they are only paying 10% of their retirement benefits and that the taxpayers are paying the other 90% of the rest. That's two different things. It would be like if you are funding your own retirement by taking out 10% of your salary and putting it into your retirement fund....automatically.
@midnightsky41 you are an idiot! Teachers, police, firemen, nurses and other public employees pay 10% of their own income into their retirements. Get the facts straight before you post things that make you look like a fool.
@drozman721 I don't give a crap how much they pay, it's not 100% like I have to pay! You're the fool, they need to take some personal responsibility into their health care and retirement. I owe them nothing!
@drozman721 I don't give a crap how much they pay, it's not 100% like I have to pay! You're the fool, they need to take some personal responsibility into their health care and retirement. I owe them nothing! Whoo Hoo, 10%, break the freaking bank. Tax payers shouldn't have to pay anything, these should be private sector jobs. Where in the constitution does it say we should pay this? NO WHERE!!!!!
@midnightsky41 so let me get this straight, you pay 100% of your income into your retirement? You don't read very well for comprehension do you. I suppose you've never heard of private sector employees getting matching contributions into their 401k accounts from their employers? These should be private sector jobs? Really? You really should think a little more before you write.
Im voting NO on issue 2. NO to the top 1% they already have enough, and I';m not going to let them take MY state down and dictate to MY firefighters and police officers and teachers what their working conditions will be. NO NO NO on issue 2.
I voted early and voted NO on Issue 2....It's time we stopped letting the government srt policy for it's workers............Join John Glenn, myself and millions of others...VOTE NO on ISSUE 2
Issue 2 is going down. SB5 is a vicious attempt to blame hard working Ohio public workers for all the economic problems of our state. Kasich and his cronies are hell bent on stripping labor of all rights. He wants to gut public education and privatize most other public sectors. He is in for a rude awakening when the citizens of Ohio vote NO on issue 2l
Don't believe the union ads...VOTE YES ON 2 stop the unions from running our schools into the ground............Albert Shanker - President of the United Federation of Teachers from 1964 to 1984 - President of the American Federation of Teachers from 1974 to 1997. QUOTES:
"..a lot of people who have been hired as teachers are basically not competent"
"When schoolchildren start paying union dues, that’s when I’ll start representing the interests of schoolchildren."
