  • wud this way work 4 an african american?

  • Who's Joe?

  • Thanks :) um i don't really know too much about hair. My hair is incredibly curly i was trying to find a way to wear my hair loose and you helped me find that answer. I am tired of keeping it in a pony tail all the time especially since it is getting warmer now.

  • hey wat smapoo do u use??? thanks =)

  • wot is a versa styler??

  • yu were really sleepy werent yu ?

  • my hair underneath is completely straight but the hair on top is very curlywould this help to make the hair underneath curl like the hair on top?

  • @lindseylu6 Did you ever find a way to style your hair. I have the same problem and it takes far too long to straighten my hair so i try to wear it natural but the bottom falls as soon as it dries and just looks nappy and gross.

  • @lilyannd19 kind of not really though.. if i use a difusser and kinda just let it sit there for a while it makes it a little curlier..

  • yu used alott of versa styler!

  • i love you

    from ramone

  • yea what is versastyler? Does it control frizz and act as a get too?

  • Hello, instead of using Versastyler can you use curling mousse?

Because we don't have it in London and what is VersaStyler? Is it mousse/gel ?

Many Thanks, Lovin' your videos btw!

    =D

  • this takes toooo long

  • i know this is random but your like the hair guro... anyways to all randoms watching this... well to all randoms watching this with curls hair... does it like naturaly go flatish at the top and supper curly ringlet things at the bottem??? or like is that just me???? anyways nice video... loved it loved it loved it!!!

  • hahaha thanks! No, that's not just you-- hair does that naturally depending on your cut. It' because of the weight of your hair pulling it down against your head. The only "cure" is to either get it cut with layers to help with the weight, or else to make sure to blow-dry upside down mostly, so that it dries with the weight going the other way-- seriously-- the diffuser is critical. :p

  • No, my hair has always don ethat. You have to find the correct products and apply the more on the top. I reccomend almost any curl boosting moose. Moose is a lot lighter than gel which is good for long thick curly hair.

  • one question do you use one bottle of the versasyler every time you curl your hair

  • No, if I do my hair every day or almost every day, I usually end up using about 1-2 bottles a month.. Not that bad actually.

  • bla, bla bla

  • damn this is long....lol

  • dats a lot of product...i think i would have to buy a bottle each time i would do my hair, i have a lot of hair...

  • nice vid.

just one question though, doesnt all of that product make your hair sticky??

  • i did my hair like this today

    and my hair

    is really curly

so when i twisted it around

my finger like you did it just curled instantly.

    but its really hard for

me to do this with my hair because

even after I difuse it and crap

    it just gets poofy...

  • What product are you using in your hair before hand? Your hair sounds like mine in High school (WAY curlier than now even) and the ONLY way it worked was with a good product. Versastyler/Omnistyler from Nexxus is the ONLY one that works 4 me so far. I tried the Paul Mitchell liquid gel and it was ok but not near as good. Try getting some omnistyler (sold at JCPenny salons) and try it again. I'd bet it's that your product isn't strong enough to control and hold the curl.

  • pfft, I love Jess's voice!

  • wow it actually looks VERY curly.

    niceeeee

  • Bullshit, you're not talking to much, it's cute ;)

  • Way too much talking. You could have done it all on one clip rather than 2 if you didn't talk so much.

  • HAHAH! That's teh story of my life.. and forget 2 vids.. it took 4! I know. I'm not the most concise person around. I'm trying to edit more out of hte next vid before I post it so it's not so boring.

  • lmfao. My cousin thats a boy saw this and said " So thats what girls do in the washroom" x]

  • Thank you so much =] I got naturally curly hair and its always frizzy for me =]

  • You actually love doing this, don't you :P

  • do you have problems with small knots (for me their more like large tangles) in your hair? I have super curly hair (ringlets... without even trying to get them) and it seems like it tangles bad even when i brush or comb it out a lot

  • OMG you put a ton of V.S in your hair!!! I could never use that much on mine! I'd go through a whole bottle! lol good vids though

  • you should be naked!

  • i have unfortunetaly nateraly curly hair. I find it redicoulous that you want to have curls! you cant do anything with them

  • Mine is naturally curly as well. And I always hated it growing up b/c it was just frizzy/poofy-looking. Once I learned how to "tame" the curl though, it was actually fun for me. I like to straighten sometimes too, but generally, the curly is just easier for me b/c it's faster/less maintenance.. if you can believe that! :D

  • Is this feature sponsored by 'VersaStyler' or something? Did they pay you girl?!!

  • HAHAHAHA! No, not paid by VersaStyler. I've actually tried a TON of different products trying to get the same result. Nothing works as well. The next closest is the Paul Mitchell.. eh forgot the name, but it's also a liquid gel. But it doesn't last as long, and CAN get the dry flaky crap. *shrugs* I just like V.S.

  • girllllll thank lord i do know about hair you almost use all the botlle of gel. That crazy glue style ringlet don't post.

  • so basically what you're saying is you put a pound of that nexus goo all blobbed on top of your head, most which will end up smeared on your pillowcase tomorrow morning. :-)

  • HAHAH!!--not quite. :) you actually use less than it seems. And versastyler doesn't flake or come out like other gel that gives you white flakes that look like dandruff. And if you want a softer look, you just scrunch again after your hair is completely dry and it breaks up the crunchy "wet look" and becomes really soft. Once it's dry, you don't have to worry about it staining. It's just while it's wet, and that's true of basically any hair product. Even leave-in conditioner can stain clothes

  • thanks for posting very handy.
