Thanks :) um i don't really know too much about hair. My hair is incredibly curly i was trying to find a way to wear my hair loose and you helped me find that answer. I am tired of keeping it in a pony tail all the time especially since it is getting warmer now.
@lindseylu6 Did you ever find a way to style your hair. I have the same problem and it takes far too long to straighten my hair so i try to wear it natural but the bottom falls as soon as it dries and just looks nappy and gross.
i know this is random but your like the hair guro... anyways to all randoms watching this... well to all randoms watching this with curls hair... does it like naturaly go flatish at the top and supper curly ringlet things at the bottem??? or like is that just me???? anyways nice video... loved it loved it loved it!!!
hahaha thanks! No, that's not just you-- hair does that naturally depending on your cut. It' because of the weight of your hair pulling it down against your head. The only "cure" is to either get it cut with layers to help with the weight, or else to make sure to blow-dry upside down mostly, so that it dries with the weight going the other way-- seriously-- the diffuser is critical. :p
No, my hair has always don ethat. You have to find the correct products and apply the more on the top. I reccomend almost any curl boosting moose. Moose is a lot lighter than gel which is good for long thick curly hair.

What product are you using in your hair before hand? Your hair sounds like mine in High school (WAY curlier than now even) and the ONLY way it worked was with a good product. Versastyler/Omnistyler from Nexxus is the ONLY one that works 4 me so far. I tried the Paul Mitchell liquid gel and it was ok but not near as good. Try getting some omnistyler (sold at JCPenny salons) and try it again. I'd bet it's that your product isn't strong enough to control and hold the curl.
HAHAH! That's teh story of my life.. and forget 2 vids.. it took 4! I know. I'm not the most concise person around. I'm trying to edit more out of hte next vid before I post it so it's not so boring.
do you have problems with small knots (for me their more like large tangles) in your hair? I have super curly hair (ringlets... without even trying to get them) and it seems like it tangles bad even when i brush or comb it out a lot
Mine is naturally curly as well. And I always hated it growing up b/c it was just frizzy/poofy-looking. Once I learned how to "tame" the curl though, it was actually fun for me. I like to straighten sometimes too, but generally, the curly is just easier for me b/c it's faster/less maintenance.. if you can believe that! :D
HAHAHAHA! No, not paid by VersaStyler. I've actually tried a TON of different products trying to get the same result. Nothing works as well. The next closest is the Paul Mitchell.. eh forgot the name, but it's also a liquid gel. But it doesn't last as long, and CAN get the dry flaky crap. *shrugs* I just like V.S.
so basically what you're saying is you put a pound of that nexus goo all blobbed on top of your head, most which will end up smeared on your pillowcase tomorrow morning. :-)
HAHAH!!--not quite. :) you actually use less than it seems. And versastyler doesn't flake or come out like other gel that gives you white flakes that look like dandruff. And if you want a softer look, you just scrunch again after your hair is completely dry and it breaks up the crunchy "wet look" and becomes really soft. Once it's dry, you don't have to worry about it staining. It's just while it's wet, and that's true of basically any hair product. Even leave-in conditioner can stain clothes
wud this way work 4 an african american?

@lilyannd19 kind of not really though.. if i use a difusser and kinda just let it sit there for a while it makes it a little curlier..
