I've always thought Appolonia was beautiful, all the girls where, but Appolonia had a much more mature face and wore too much makeup which is what made her look older, still gorgeous and would've been so much prettier without all the makeup. Vanity was gorgeous and she gave the group a female Prince feel because she was more into the whole stage presence and showed more enthusiasm in her craft. Although I love both of them & their contribution to music, Vanity hands down.

Apollonia had the better physique, but Vanity was more .. ahem .. TALENTED. Vanity could outperform Apollonia vocally, dramatically, and sexually. Vanity OOOZED sexuality without even trying. Apollonia was just eyecandy. That said, I would've loved to watch them BOTH perform together in a private room.

@MsYvetteCorbett - Vanity's Black, Apollonia's Italian, in the 80's they favored each other because the leather & lace look was the thing. But when Vanity let her drug habit take control, Apollonia stepped up and started doing the singing for Apollonia 6. But either way, they were still the two coolest chicks of the 80's including Shela E. & Sheena Easton & Teena Marie.

I've always thought Appolonia was beautiful, all the girls where, but Appolonia had a much more mature face and wore too much makeup which is what made her look older, still gorgeous and would've been so much prettier without all the makeup. Vanity was gorgeous and she gave the group a female Prince feel because she was more into the whole stage presence and showed more enthusiasm in her craft. Although I love both of them & their contribution to music, Vanity hands down.
