  • i'll sell it to you for only 100 bucks

  • cool... not that hard to make

    but somewhat original idea

  • Not that hard to make?

Seriously, shut up. You have no idea what you're talking about.

  • And you do, right?

For people who have taken graphic design/computer courses, this isn't the hardest stuff to do, so hor3112 isn't exactly lying. Although I'm not saying he's 100% right, it's still fascinating and takes knowledge and talent to know how to do these things ^_^

  • If it takes knowledge and talent then I'd call that a moderate difficulty, not "not that hard to make". Installing a linux distro is "not that hard". Writing a program to scrape data off a website is also "not that hard". Making a music video look good with the CS3 master collection is "moderately hard". Tracking the rotation, distance, and 3-axis orientation of a piece of paper in real time and implementing a 3d engine in flash IS hard in my opinion. Do you find it easy or something?

  • I wasn't trying to say it wasn't difficult. All I was saying is for people who know what they're doing with that kind of stuff, this isn't the hardest project in the world to do. I don't find it easy, but I also have done harder things as a graphic designer and as a computer programmer. Most people aren't designers or programmers or anything like that, so yeah to most people it'd be a near impossible feat. I'm on your side here haha, I was just looking at it from the viewpoint of a programmer =]

  • I guess you are on my side somewhat. My side is "this project is moderately hard and very time consuming". Your side is "it's not the hardest project in the world".

Where we differ is my interpretation of "not the hardest project in the world". That's a very very loose term. What if it's the second hardest project? What kind of "hardest project" are you comparing it to, trying to pass the Turing Test? THAT project is the hardest one in the world and it makes this one seem like "hello world"!

  • Haha I'm so glad you referenced 'Hello World!'. It made my day. That seems like so long ago when I first saw Hello World and though "Wow, this is neat" haha.

  • Haha, I just tried this, it it pretty darn cool. Just go to the website he lists @ 0:40 and follow the instructions (if you have a webcam).

  • This is nothing new they have something called a airs cube where a women comes out its a digtal ai

  • Theres something weird in this video. Look at the print on the sheet of paper just before he puts it away at the end and says "Have a good weekend". The image on the sheet doesn't move along with it, but moves a bit later.

Why do you suppose that might be?

  • That is weird, because that's not where you would edit in an image if you were faking it.

  • I saw that too and was like "WTF?" I think it is fake. haha

  • This is nothing special its just an advanced plug in for your webcam

  • Look again, I noticed it to but when I replayed it I realized it was just an illusion as he curves the sheet.

  • the "illusion" is rendered on the computer, in other words the computer sees the picture and places a 3D object on it and makes it follow the picture on the paper.

  • I meant an optical illusion, I was referring to a prev comment that said it was a glitch at the end...

  • It would be nice with a link to the site.

  • I saw this at the star wars exhibition at the powerhouse, or at least similar technology. Nowhere near as awesome as that.

  • EXPLAIN!

  • its not fake dumbass

  • dude i just did this it so works
