Its U.S. Army Ranger Dillon that makes me so proud to be an American..He gave the ultimate sacrifice so people from another country can one day be free. Keep us safe up there Ben, I will do my part in keeping the streets safe down here..
My aunt is also Ben's aunt and as we were driving to go and see where his memorial was we go lost and asked somebody if they new where it was and it turns out the person we asked was one of his good friends with his dog tags on it was such a coincidence
I would give my heart and soul to AT LEAST have been there to meet you all : his family. Unfortunately I was away, but along with Tim Sheas Tattoos I have .. I will be adding Ben Dillon and I will soon be in contact to send you pictures. I hope you all find peace in this warriors death
thank you so much for all you did for our country. we too lost a precious family member to this war. may we all keep our boys in memory..each and every day!
If more people realized how much of a sacrafice Rangers make, maybe they would be able to look at the problems and shortcomings in their own life and realize it's not that bad.
i too ship out january 6th with an opt 40 contract. the service of our rangers is without a doubt one of the bravest and most selfless. as a future ranger, this man will never be forgotten. thank you to the family, deepest respect, hooah
Im signing up in about 8 months myself. Im getting an option 40 too. My one question is lets say you didn't make it past R.I.P. would you just be assigned to an airbrone unit (82nd)? Since in option 40 after osut you go to jump school. And can my recruiter guarantee me 11b? and not like 11c or something?
The Rangers are immortal, therefore so is CPL Dillon.
Men of honour and courage like this hold a flame up to the darkness and grime in the world so that we may live our lives in ignorance of it. We owe them a debt of gratitude that none of us can afford to repay.
Rest easy Ben. Rest a hero, and a true Patriot. You will never be forgotten. One can only hope for a chance to engage in service befitting of your sacrifice. I ship January 01 2009, with an Op40 Contract. Your sacrifice will not go unknown.
We miss you buddy Aunt Bevie, Uncle Rick, Teresa, and me. You did great! We are so grateful. You would have no idea how many people miss you, care about you, and need you. We salute you and love you. May you be remembered for all eternity for what you have become and not for your death only. Love, Sarah
R.I.P. Ben Dillon...you will never be forgotten. Ben was a great Ranger, and a great friend. We miss you and we love you. Keep his family and all his fellow Rangers in your prayers, because just like him, they are all truly amazing.
Bravo Company, 3rd Ranger Battalion leads the way! September 04-January 08.
My prayers are with Ben and the rest of your family. I was on the same squad as Ben and unfortunately was unable to make it to his funeral. Thank you so much for posting this video.
My hat is off to you Ben's fellow Ranger. I would like to tell you this video is a result of Ben's family but it was from I believe a fellow Ranger who has kept his identity private. Thank you for being with Ben.
i dont even know him but what happend plz tell me. i dont know him but from this vid this man was a true american hero in all ours heart he died for a good cuase the cuase to protect his friends and family from harms way. god bless him
I still cant believe the little guy i went to school with for 12 years is gone. A great guy that i rode the same bus with, grew up 1/4 mile away...
I didn't even know he was over there until i heard about it, and now I think of him as one of the people that I admire and hope to be like in my lifetime. We will truly miss him and his constant smiles and determination...
I am Ben's Aunt and I want to Thank you. We loved and miss Ben. We supported him in what he chose to do and loved him for following his dream. His Ranger family from Fort Benning are not only elite soldiers but now part of our family. Thanking them seems so inadequate for sharing their lives with Ben and then sharing those times with Ben with us.
