That's right. I took mechanical drawing classes with him in Yokohama in

1970 or 71. I remember him in the play You're a Good Man Charlie Brown

around the same year.

mark was at yo-hi at the same time i was at zama. we had elizabeth edwards, wife of former presidential candidate john edwards (now infamous for his sex scandal). she was a cheerleader and yearbook editor. we lived at sagamihara dependent housing, where christina aguilera once lived. the late singer/songwriter john denver and his brother lived at johnson air base (now iruma air base... it was given back to the japanese in the early '70s). just a little more famous military brat trivia to share.

Yes, he graduated the same year as my older brother from Nile C. Kinnick High School in Japan, Class of 1969. I've seen his year book and Mark Hammil was in it. No surprise that he was involved in the drama club!

Nile C. Kinnick was located at Yokohama, not Yokosuka during the late 60's early 70's.
