Omg she is the cutest thing ever!!!!! The only thing I hate is all the screaming. I mean it is encouraging to cheer your friends on, but it's kind of rude and I think it takes away from her adorable dancing!!!!!!!

i think she looks fantastic, also solos area great way for kids in any kind of dance to build confidence, we have 3 or 4yr olds doing solos and its absolutley adorable.......how could there be anything wrong with it??????

@jimbaseball98 This studio didn't even go to nationals in Grand Rapids in 2010. This dance was competed in Chicago IL for nationals.

@MsDancer556 we actually have the opposite philosophy. By her having a solo her first year on Company, it gave her a chance to learn stage presence, choreography, and timing without impacting other girls that had been on Company before that were doing trios and group numbers. I'm curious why you feel it isn't "right" that she had a solo?
