The Cleveland/GMC 268, 278 series seem to be elusive beasts. I was looking for videos of same myself; the closest I found was: "LVRR Cornell Engine Room"; poorly-lit, but right around 49 seconds, one has a decent look at the valve covers and exhaust of the m/e; it appears to be a v-type Cleveland; don't know the series. The (retired) Seattle fireboat, Alki, ran a pair of 8-268s. Hatch and Kirk of Seattle seem to be one of the only suppliers of Cleveland parts...
I read these were used in the Budd RDCs (rail diesel cars) in pairs driving thru torque converters; 275-300 BHP. Also tugboats and tanks. I did see a pair in a 1940s vintage motor yacht in Seattle; they replaced Atlas-Imperials, apparently...Mfg'd from about 1949-65, I think...
The ones used in Budd RDC's were indeed 6-110 Detroits however they were inclined at 20 degrees to fit under the floor of the car. They sure sounded nice with several cars coupled together.

I have a 6-110 in a HD-20 Allis Chalmers Dozer... it hasn't ever pulled down... the gearing is too low in the dozer... just spins the tracks...

An old guy I used to drive for had a 6-110 in a B model Mack.

I know of a place running 110's on a barge pump, seen a couple in yatchs.
RDC'S as mentioned, I think the primary market was heavy equipment.
Anybody have 268 or 278 videos?

Where is this taken? Who owns this engine? These are really, really rare

Thanks for the additional info. Were these two or four-valve engines?

Can't seem to find that info in any books I have. However the engines used were GM model 62806.

You definately don't see 6-110's anymore, I think the only one I've seen has been in an old dozer. Nice piece.
