havent been on in a while, i had a bad tank slap on this bike. If anyone is getting aprilia get a stabilizer, i had a finger ripped of and put back on and broken collarbone, 4 surgerys. Stabilizer may save your ass. but as far as top speed i did 115 before on my 450. and these wheelies were in 3rd gear cruising from like 35-60.. the bike is great but the maintenance is a bit more intense then a normal bike. But this bike turned heads and was a monster.
@mjavorski49 probally around 100 on the 450 and 115 on 550, bikes are not built for speed. Quick as hell tho. My sxv 550 is geared out to around 130 right now.
good vid man. im looking at getting a aprilia 550 , other than oil changes do you have to do alot of maintenance like valve adjustments stuff like that to yours?
