How do you know that the prelude should be played strict in time? I should say: a little bit less rubato. Strict in time sounds like played with a metronome.
@Sasuchen Ah, that explains a great deal. He plays the organ well, but you can tell he is a piano player if you watch his hands, and hear the slightly staccato touch of a pianist!
Wonderful playing! Except for fake organ. But does not sound too bad in that room. Fugue is much too slow. Does not match the joy of the prelude. Excellent camera work showing both manuals and pedals. This work is best played from memory. Then you will have proper speed and confidence. Thank you. RG Denver, Colorado USA
Phantastisch gut gespielt, meine Wohnung wird immer zum Konzertsaal. Danke!!!

Demasiado rubato...

This performance is slower than that of Koopman - and all to the best ! This wonderful piece is if played not too fast

I would suggest care with the rubato in the prelude. That should be strict time IMHO. I thought the fugue was excellent! Thanks for the video!
