loved it. I love what dc has been doing with Supes. I love The Byrne/Jurgens Superman, but I always love different, original takes on a character, and this story has me on the edge of my seat.
Nice review, pretty much summed up how I felt about the book. Have to disagree about Batman #1 having the best art. It's being drawn and written by Tony Daniel, whose artwork has been rushed and sloppy ever since he started doing the book. Which is a shame as his work on Batman RIP was outstanding. Yet on the flip side Battle for the Cowl had some of the worst art I've seen in a long time.
I think your right however this could sort itself out yet. I mean that every hero is a dick, is very annoying cause it make every hero look silly but maybe thats a youth thing and batman and my hope wonderwoman comes it and is such a wound holy then now character that she can be sorts them out. I think they have mistook cockiness for grity hero personalities which is a shame but yer. Plus I kind of was like that was short, when I was done. Really short actually.
P.S I love all three characters BATS, HAL and SUPES. It could be very interesting when WonderWoman shows up, especially if Green Lantern is in his playboy mode. WW won't stand for it, but it will make the story edgey.
TSlay can you also do JLI and JLDARK i'm going to get the whole family. Maybe this could of been 48 pages but i thought it was okay. Superman WAS kinda cocky :"So... what can you do" to BATMAN after punching HAL(Green Lantern) I do find it odd you didn't mention what a DWEED GREEN LANTERN came of as. Bossing around BATMAN "come on, batman..." taking him from place to place without even asking, locking him in one of his Constructs. Everyone knows, nobody bosses around batman. Solid Review.
