how to get hypercam sound with vista

the only option i have for sound is microphone. it will record sounds but it records very loud for the first few seconds then very quiet. when the sounds change it gets all scrambled and sounds aweful. how can i fix it?

to see sterio mix, right click anywhere in the box and then click on "Show Disabled Devices" then it shows sterio mix. after that double click it and enable it. click ok and your done

There is no "stereo mix", only 2 microphones which i dont want to use and "Digital Output" which does absolutely nothing.

I have Windows Vista 64-Bit btw.

ok after u get everything go on whatever hypercam u have go to sound on it and click record sound then click 16 bit for sample size and click 22050 samples per sec then try i hope i helped!
