I just saw this show and I loved it. Got to say though, the West End cast has this lot vocally beat, hands down. Some incredible talent we have in London!
I can't stand Amy spanger in what I've seen and heard of Rock of Ages. I think that Constantine guy is quite good but not great. I love wes Taylor. I wish he was singing more. His voice is the highlight for me in this performance. I can't stop replaying it.

Rebecca is now in Spiderman Turn Off The Dark!Which is kinda ironic cause Jennifer Damiano was at the 2009 Tony Awards when she saw Rebecca perform that night and what you know they both get to play MJ!Rebecca has an amazing voice and Jenn too!
I saw this show today. There's been a few cast changes since this aired and I have to say the show is better for it. The two singing lead on Don't Stop Believin' are different and are much better now.
The show is amazing. Highly recommended. And that's coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of musicals normally.

@chsturgill, all the bands have signed licences to use their songs. So much so, that Def Leppard which didn't is being ridiculed at the beginning of the Broadway show. So much so that some of the bands actually came to perform. They're very very happy about the end results and the royalties they're getting !

If you get the chance...RUN to see this show. My husband & I saw it last night at "The Curran" in San Francisco & were blown away! HUGE talent across the board. Cool choreography,outrageous musical arrangements,humor and a good story...This show (IMHO), has it all! Rockers of the 80's unite!
Wow...sorry you all had such a bad experience. ROA came to Detroit in November 2010 w/ Rebbeca Faulkenberry playing Sherrie and MiG Ayesa playing Stacee Jaxx and it was awesome! It was a great show and I don't think anyone sat down the whole performance. I hope they come back again....I'd definately go see it twice!!

I saw it in L.A. last night, we walked out during intermission it was so bad. Except for one guy, the others were singing as if they just got out of American Idol, there was nothing that sounded like Rock from the 80s. But that's not even the worst part.
There was no storyline!!! It felt like they put together a list of 80s rock and then threw in some dialog and voila! Only good thing was the choreography and the set, well done!

Saw the show last night in Louisville Ky. I must admit I went with the expectations of being unimpressed and must say the only let down was with myself for prejudging. IT WAS AMAZING! " VERY talented Cast!" Double thumbs up on everything! (Music,Story, Design, Choreography, etc.) A Must See!!!! I will go again!

I saw this in Toronto recently and it was quite phenomenal, though I'll admit it will never be my favorite, as Avenue Q & Urinetown are currently tied in that spot, I would easily go see it again :)

Wow...sorry you all had such a bad experience. ROA came to Detroit in November 2010 w/ Rebbeca Faulkenberry playing Sherrie and MiG Ayesa playing Stacee Jaxx and it was awesome! It was a great show and I don't think anyone sat down the whole performance. I hope they come back again....I'd definately go see it twice!!

Just saw it and fucking serious, the guy can sing his heart out!!!!!!! AHMAZING!!!!!! GO SEE IT NOW! I loved every second of it and every single song they did!!!!! HOLY CRAP AND THE AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES WERE THERE TOO!!!

I saw it in L.A. last night, we walked out during intermission it was so bad. Except for one guy, the others were singing as if they just got out of American Idol, there was nothing that sounded like Rock from the 80s. But that's not even the worst part.
There was no storyline!!! It felt like they put together a list of 80s rock and then threw in some dialog and voila! Only good thing was the choreography and the set, well done!
In sum, don't go see it!

Saw the show last night in Louisville Ky. I must admit I went with the expectations of being unimpressed and must say the only let down was with myself for prejudging. IT WAS AMAZING! " VERY talented Cast!" Double thumbs up on everything! (Music,Story, Design, Choreography, etc.) A Must See!!!! I will go again!

I saw next to normal on Broadway and that is a great show but i rather watch this show any day over next to normal i rather be happy then depressed out of my mind after a show . This show rock and is a hoot and a half. Rock of ages is a self-referencing, making-fun-of-itself musical.

I saw this in Toronto recently and it was quite phenomenal, though I'll admit it will never be my favorite, as Avenue Q & Urinetown are currently tied in that spot, I would easily go see it again :)
