  • April, I can't thank you enough for making this video. I was at Claire's yesterday and realized we just couldn't afford the really cute floral hair clips for my tween and would have to find a way to make it myself. After watching you, I'm really excited about this possibility! Your orchid is beautiful, and so are you.

  • @Jennifr1966 Aww I am so happy this video was helpful! :)

  • you are so sweet!

  • where did you purchase your orchid? i love it!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! You didn't drag it out and you got straight to the point. I was just talking about how expensive it was just to purchase 1 clip with a flower ($5.99). And most of the time you can only wear it with certain colors. With your video, you have inspired me to go out there to make my own. Thanks again for your video!!

  • thank you so much - this was incredibly helpful - I will be making a few hair clips tonight then!

  • i used glue gun before but its kinda messy...great tip on using an industrial glue...never would have thought of it...Thanks...

  • @hellfryGoddess .. The south does have a Joannes.I live in tennessee.. :)

  • i like simple projects and definantly goin to try to do this. i have one i bought from charlotte russe and i want another.

  • Love the idea. You must be from up north though because in the south they don't have JoAnne Fabrics. lol I do know in Beloit, Wisconsin they do and I miss going to that store. We do have Walmart and Hobby Lobby so I'm going to stock up on flower to start making these. Thanks a bunch!

  • @HellfyrGoddess i live in texas and they have a joanne fabrics here. just saying. maybe just not one by u.

  • Thanks for being a pleasure to watch April. You made an easy project even easier by offering tips (like the coupon) and got to the point (didn't make the video longer than it had to be).

  • @DanaWood100 Thanks that means so much to me!

  • That is so cool and it saves money awesome!!!

  • HI AprilAthena7 ,,thank you great video ,,,where do you get the bags the're great ,,,, "-",,

  • It's best if you use a glue gun-it's the best way to do it. Less mess and dries quicker.

  • aww thats nice can I have one? Like a rose?

  • Will super glue work?

  • I'm gonna try it, I'll tell you if it works

  • wow, this video wasn't helpful, it was genius and i'll save tons of money!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you:-)

  • Aww thank you!

  • great idea! thankyou my girls will love them. i don't have to burn my fingers with the glue gun. i love that glue. thankyou again.

  • does super glue work just as good?

  • Sure!

  • aww thanks for the help :] <3

  • Oh my gosh I love this! Thank you!

  • You are very welcome!

  • Great! I was using bobby pins and the clip will work much better. Thanks for doing this video! I'm going to use these as gifts for single moms I know. Thanks!

  • Great gift idea!

  • I was thinking about using the E6000 to make a rhinestone case for my iphone.. would u rec this glue for that kind of project?

  • This glue is very thick and it might be difficult to use to glue rhinestone because it is so thick, I recommend maybe hot glue, it will be easier to glue onto things on small pieces like rhinestones. :)

  • E6000 glue is one of the strongest glues i have ever worked with. Even hot glue dosnt survive when 6000 glue stays!

  • That's how I thought I would do one, but thanks for showing me I really appreciate it!

  • You are welcome! Thank you so much for watching! :)

  • could you use hot glue?

  • Oh yes definitely! I was cheap and didn't have the cool stuff, like hot glue. LOL!

  • anyone can buy a fake flower and glue it on to a clip, no big deal

  • True, but I am teaching those who didn't know how to.

  • i made some last night and added little jewls to them....also i use hot glue it dries REALLY fast!

  • COOL! That sounds great! :)
