This era has to be the best of MST3K. Don't get me wrong. I love Joel and the Sci-Fi days but TV's Frank, Dr.Forrester, and Mike had to be the best days of this show. SO damn funny. And perfect.

@cinephilefromhell "Best" is completely subjective, so I don't use the adjective much. I like the Joel years a little better, only because I enjoy shows that are really innovative, and MST3K was certainly that. Mike was great too, but by that time the show had become a little predictable. The writing was still first rate though.

I have the vhs version of this that I bought like 12 years ago. I checked on amazon to see if they had a dvd version, and they did, but it was like $90 bucks. Thanks so much for posting so I can watch it again!

@baroquejen Are you serious?!! I thought I was some sort of isolated freak for falling asleep to MST3K...I started senior year of college, and have been indulging ever since. It's just so comforting. I even have specific episodes I prefer sleeping to: Devil Fish is one, Laserblast another. It think it's the shitty synthesized soundtracks combined with the crew's indignant riffs that lull me into peace. It helps me to know I am not alone in my slumber preferences. I'm gonna have a parade!
