@TheKaundere : Are you sure? From the yellow color, I would think this was a matrix of blue LEDs with a cerium doped YAG phosphor, and so would not emit any UV.
Of course, you would want to avoid looking into high intensity LEDs like this while they are lighted, as they may be bright enough to cause thermal damage or high intensity light damage to the retina.
This LED fixture is actually a matrix of individual LEDs which combined are a 100W unit. I placed it over the round part of my aquarium that wasn't at all lit by the T5's. Giant clams in that area loved it! Carpet anemone started to move in that direction as well... ;-)
each LED is how much watt plz let me know b'coz me planing to make it here i find each LED 3 watt . that means i have to fit 50 LED to replace my current MH 150 watt??? i need advice me confused let me know guys waiting for ur reply
I haven't installed it yet. Apparently, this 100W LED compares at least to a 250W MH, if not more. I know color spectrum is much narrower than on MHs, from a presentation by Sanjay Joshi at MACNA 2010 in Orlando. I will install T5's additionally in order to supply a broad spectrum to the tank.
someone try out the 1000W Power LED from ledsmaster. google it

what are you using as a driver for the led? I have a 130 gallon tank and would like to put 6 or more of these over it.
