I think the drummer could play a little bit louder in his solo. It's hard to hear him.

@ArtD42 Well....there are many examples of him doing this. But...on a positive note, if you compare this to his work with the Miles Davis quintet in the sixties, you`ll hear the difference. Try "Miles Smiles" for instance. Excellent bass work.

@teemingup Well, it is no hiding the fact that ron carter doesnt have the best intonation, but it is the way he plays his instrument that has made him a huge success throughout his career. he is by far the most lyrical bassist in his walking i have ever heard and his solos are perfection with simplicity
