Of course Deidara won for a few reasons:

He is awesome.

Sasuke is not.

He is really powerful.

He can fly using his clay.

Sasuke is gay.

And the ONLY reason that Sasuke survied the gaint explosion in the Shippuden battle between him and Deidara, is beacause Sasuke is a close character to Naruto.
