This is a HUGE victory for the USA, and world, that has been a long time coming!!! After 8 years of Bush misleadership, ineptness, and terrible judgement, Americans have HAD ENOUGH! This time, they elected an intelligent, rational, passionate leader who will restore democracy and humanity to this country! The hatemongering and divisive Limbaughs, O'Reillys, Coulters, and Hannitys of the world have become obsolete.

The first time I have ever been proud to be an American, the first time I have ever chanted USA and the first time I have broken down and cried with joy. Two Norwegian friends of mine were at the show, too - while I was staying awake here over in Germany in front of the TV, keeping my fingers crossed for Obama and the American nation.

I'm sooooooo happy! And I'm so proud of the American nation - just great!!!

I do hope your new president will come to Germany soon, again.
