I use to watch this weekday mornings in the early 70's. Imagine my fury when I discovered the local broadcast was interrupted by the Watergate hearings. Cambria wasn't much for motion, but Alex Toth (and others) made this a thing of beauty. I used to play Space Angel with a chair, with a fold down set of steps. I laid it on its back as the cockpit of the Starduster, while the steps were the controls. Great fun.
I was beginning to think I dreamed all this stuff! NO ONE seemes to have ever heard of SPACE ANGLE, yet it was a no-miss shoe for me as a little kid! Thanks!
@TooleMan87 Okay (smart-guy!), ya got me. I plead no coffee and 6days with a bad head cold (otherwise, I would not be wasting all this time on YT ! I just found a bunch of these episodes available on netflix as well. Waiting for that disc.
I too remember this series & its weird syncro-vox dialog system. However, the man behind almost ALL the artwork that made this series worth remembering was Alex Toth. Alex Toth went on to be the MAN for creating the model sheets (the entire LOOK) of ALL of Hanna-Barberra's adventure characters (he was resposible for Space Ghost) for the remainder of the sixties and throuout the seventies.
This doesn't even include the work he is responsible for in the world of mainstream comics.
I was 7 years old when this series was on TV and it was one of my favorites... to the point that I would ask myself what ever happened to it more than 45 years later! I used to draw pictures of the different ships and from what I've seen, I wasn't off by much. This is awesome. Thanks for digging up this old footage!
This was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. I haven't seen one of these since around 1972. Thanks for posting this! I'll be watching all the other episodes I can find on YouTUBE now. :)

Was there a kid named Johnny in this show? I'm looking for a scene where a woman talks to a boy about searching the sky for his father.
