@dankfrank10 The left lever is for rear brakes. Squeeze on it enough and it will trigger the front brakes too. It's Honda's Combined Braking System.

you use a full Helmet, doesn't look dorky at all. you wont regret it if you'll ever be so unlucky to crash at 40mph om a scooter:) the other alternative is a half helmet, which is fine, but doesnt protect your jaw.

I have a Kitaco Variator and de restricted, I can do about 40 on a flat and over 45 on an incline.
But yeah, stock is about 35-38 depending on rider weight.
I'm about 180lbs. A friend, she's about 100 pounds and did about 42 stock!

What kind of helmet do you use when riding a moped? A traditional full biker helmet just doesn't seem right, but I just want to make sure.

Stock ~40MPH, Posh CDI and Variator will get you too about 48 in a speed tuck.
