Dave looks liked he could have been the boy next door, a certain innocence, and his vocals fresh. I'm no producer, but the editing job seems well done. Thanks to YouTube it's cool to view this blast from the past

How much exposure did this video get in the late 80s? I don't think that Dave Alvin ever got much mainstream country airplay did he? And of course MTV or VH1 would not have shown it.
