Did you know that a disease is a living entity? By accepting any disease, you permit it to stay in your body aka you allow yourself to be sick. By rejecting the thought of being sick, you get rid of your illness faster. TrueGamer181- the best way to quiet your mind is just focus on your breath. Be mindful of when you Inhale, then exhale... when your mind starts drifting off bring your focus back to your breathing. Try for 10 minutes and you will see improvement in meditation.
Let go of your attachment to the experience. Once you realize that it is your expectation that is holding you back you will be able to enjoy the experience of just being. This is meditation...The absence of attachment to our experience...Kind of hard to let go of that ego.........
I meditate daily, and yet I feel that I am not accomplishing much. Perhaps this is because I cannot seem to concentrate on one thing; my mind is constantly racing all the time. Any tips for increasing my focus?
Its tough and does take practice dont give up. For me i focus on listening to nothing have a room be completely silent, no phones or distractions of any kind and sit and count breaths slowly and calmly inhaling and exhaling from 1 to 10.
Get a mantra to voice out in your mind. That way you're focusing on it rather than all the distractive thoughts.
Pick a mantra, say it out loud when beginning meditation (out loud at the first time only) then let it only be heard by you, in your mind. Just repeat ommm or whatever you choose.
lol. I like how it's totally serene music and images, with tense text telling us that we don't have much time. I don't know about everyone else, but I am always keenly aware that I am hurtling through space at crazy speeds, on a little ball, filled with other versions of me, all of us striving to consume energy in one form or another to sustain ourselves. Life is funny, strange, interesting, and definitely conducive to having hobbies.

I love this music, it takes me on a jorney through space and time, my mind wanders off the map of "normal state" to a completly different state and feels so right to just stay there, eyes closed, so natural and so welcoming... We are on the verge of a spiritual evolution connecting to something that we lost long ago. God is only a metaphor for something we think exists. The definitions of God are as infinite as the permutations of Gods thought to exist. Usually this is a version of the higher self of men and women, or the superego. God is a version of our selves, which is why God seems to have so many human tendencies. If we are all one, then we are indeed God, as a fractal that represents part of the whole and the whole contained within a part simultaneously.

I meditate daily, and yet I feel that I am not accomplishing much. Perhaps this is because I cannot seem to concentrate on one thing; my mind is constantly racing all the time. Any tips for increasing my focus?

Its tough and does take practice dont give up. For me i focus on listening to nothing have a room be completely silent, no phones or distractions of any kind and sit and count breaths slowly and calmly inhaling and exhaling from 1 to 10.

Get a mantra to voice out in your mind. That way you're focusing on it rather than all the distractive thoughts.
Pick a mantra, say it out loud when beginning meditation (out loud at the first time only) then let it only be heard by you, in your mind. Just repeat ommm or whatever you choose.

It's a word or syllable that is repeated during meditation. Om is an example. Just google mantra.
It is also good to know that you shouldn't focus too much on the mantra since the goal is to focus on nothing.

lol. I like how it's totally serene music and images, with tense text telling us that we don't have much time. I don't know about everyone else, but I am always keenly aware that I am hurtling through space at crazy speeds, on a little ball, filled with other versions of me, all of us striving to consume energy in one form or another to sustain ourselves. Life is funny, strange, interesting, and definitely conducive to having hobbies.

I love this music, it takes me on a jorney through space and time, my mind wanders off the map of "normal state" to a completly different state and feels so right to just stay there, eyes closed, so natural and so welcoming... It has inspired me to meditate again, infact I'm going to do it right now!

We are on the verge of a spiritual evolution connecting to something that we lost long ago. We are at the days of tests and exams to see if humanity is at its end or beginning something that so few have been able to achieve. I have had dreams of the future and they are growing in frequency but im losing the vividness of them. I use to actually remember them and review them in my head. I am seeing things more clear with everyday that passes. I'm not sure if this is what I wanted when I first started.
I see all kinds of things even when people are not around me. I see what is going on with them then they call me and tell me what happen and it's what I had a vision of.

enlightened simply means,coming to terms with the fact there is no invisible man in the sky,no Buddha,mystic,soothsayer, or anyone or anything else responsible for creation.And accepting the fact that we exist only to create and procreate,to continue the process of evolution and then cease to exist. As has been the case for 4.5 billion years.And understand there is no past,or future.Only the present.

There is no old man with a white beard and staff sitting in a throne in the sky judging us when we curse or make a decision we may later regret. Yeah, well, they aren't just balls of "energy" floating around, magic is way above this. Sit in a comfortable position with eyes closed.Focus you closed eyes together to a point upward toward the forward.Concentrate,and you will begin seeing visions.Not as 'pictures' or in animation, but as abstracts of shapes or colors. It will work.

God is only a metaphor for something we think exists. The definitions of God are as infinite as the permutations of Gods thought to exist. Usually this is a version of the higher self of men and women, or the superego. God is a version of our selves, which is why God seems to have so many human tendencies. If we are all one, then we are indeed God, as a fractal that represents part of the whole and the whole contained within a part simultaneously.
