Just a pointer. Those parts in the song when you play the big E chord (No one gonna tell you what I'm all about, etc), try playing that classic blues lick where you play the E5 chord, and then change the B to a C#, and then back again. Basically, it's the little riff from cigarettes & alcohol.

Thanks man. I can't remember what effects I used. In any case I used the same ones for the whole song and quoting one of my earlier comments, I seemed to have been the built-in chorus+reverb effect of my vox amp.

i play the solo on this at the 5th and 6th strings, but it looked like you were playing it with the 4th and 5th, couldn't really see

Acoustic guitars usually just give the rhythm to the song, even though it's a great sound too. For me this is 5 stars, great solo too

Hmmm, quite a few mistakes.

Background is too loud. Kind of hard to tell which is Noel and which is you...

And something sounds wrong @ 54 seconds and 1:02... etc really.

Work on your timing too, you go out of tempo regularly.

Thx for the advise.. I know I'm quite unprecise. But I prefer not to make to many takes just to make to be 100% mistake free. It just ends up sounding mechanical.

Unfortunately you really need to be precise. It's not something you can just ignore :-D

And you can do it without being mechanical, it just takes a lot of practice until it becomes second nature.
