@teddorward sorry man i dont...im in the upper peninsula of michigan and for some reason we just dont get the snow like we used to i wish we still got snow like we did 10 years ago one year i had it in 5 feet of snow and it only sunk a few inches the 15 inch rubber tracks keep it up good
Do you still have your cushman? Would you like to sell it? All the things you did to that i have wanted to do to one. But almost impossible to find one here in Alaska.
@akvkng naa this is one thing i never want to sell mostly because its so unique everybody has 6x6s with tracks but the is different look around u can find them if you are capable of restoring one u can find one thats good enough to restore
I also towed a 18 ft trailer to haul Steele billets between buildings for machines to chop up and get machined for parts and that trackster had a ton of traction it would go up the side of a building until gravity took over. It was the most fun machine I ever used when I worked there the flotation body worked real good I had a friend in experimental and they would take them to lakes and ponds and run them all day the first one he took out he forgot to place the drain seal in and he sunk one !
@Gofer303 oh damn i bet the boss was happy haha bad news though my dad wants to sell this and get a max or an attex six wheeler but i wont let him i tll him we have too much time and money in it to sell the only time we ever use it is in the winter cause its so nice but i think we are going to keep it
I used to work at the Cushman factory in Lincoln NE when they started building them worked second shift and had to move them out of the assy area to stock more parts sometimes they were "tested" a bit before parking. Full throttle and twist the T bar was a great dizzy ride! I even got to take one of the full skirted amphibious ones in a creek to see that they were able to go in the water. Thanks for posting the nostalgia !
thanks for the comment thats very cool that you got to work in a factory these machines were definently ahead of their time!!! i havent found a nicer one around yet
My brother has one of these, just sits in his garage. Shame.
